• The reading room is open every day (except Sunday) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• The KBR museum is open every day (except Monday) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

With a valid reader’s card, you can consult the collections in the reading room from Monday to Saturday between 9:00 and 17:00. Documents can be reserved in advance via the online catalogue.

Two unknown works by Johann Sebastian Bach discovered at KBR
In the exceptional Fétis collection, preserved at the Royal Library of Belgium (KBR), two previously unknown organ works by Johann Sebastian Bach have been discovered. These pieces, recently authenticated by the Bach Archive Leipzig, were presented on 17 November during an exceptional concert in the Thomaskirche in Leipzig.
