At this time, Viva Engage will be included as part of the Microsoft Viva suite for employee experience within Microsoft Teams and available to all current Microsoft 365 and Viva customers.

You won’t need to do anything if you already have the Communities app for Teams installed. It will automatically change to the Viva Engage experience. If you don’t have the Communities app, install it now.

Currently, Admins will need to deploy Yammer and then install the Viva Engage app within Teams. We’re working on offering Viva Engage experiences that won’t require Yammer.
