Founded in 1922 by journalist Dimitrios Ch. Lambrakis, Lambrakis Press has steadily grown to become the largest and most acknowledged mass media group in Greece with strong brnad names and a wide range of business activities ranging from the long-established sectors of publishing daily and weekend newspapers and general and special interest magazines to industrial printing and tourist services. Lambrakis Press has also expanded its business scope through participations in free-to-air television, TV productions, press distribution, book publishing and bookstore chains while developing and operating the largest Greek-language internet portal and an e-commerce operation.
Since the 1950s and under the management of journalist Mr. Christos D. In October 1998 Lambrakis Press was the first publishing company to be listed on the Athens Stock Exchange.
The Group's consolidated total equity capital exceeds 110 million euros, its consolidated total assets exceeded 295� million euros and its consolidated sales exceeded 280 million euros.
