To all my hyperscale Kubernetes buddies out there...this is some very cool tech! The obvious use cases illustrated in the video, but I've seen folks try to build similar architectures for DR applications in OT environments. Rugged, portable, and built for the edge—#BoozAllen’s EdgeXtend delivers hyperscale cloud services to remote, denied, and disconnected environments. See it in action: https://lnkd.in/evPTU3CZ

Migrating to #GKE from on-premise or legacy cloud setups? 🏗️ You’re probably used to "island mode" networking where Pods live in their own isolated world. GKE does things differently. It uses a flat network model (VPC-native), treating Pods as first-class citizens with their own VPC IPs. While this boosts performance and visibility, it often scares teams who worry about IP exhaustion. 😨 This deep dive decodes the architecture for you. It covers: 🔹 The difference between Island Mode vs. Flat Network. 🔹 The benefits of Native VPC integration. 🔹 Design patterns to adapt your IP strategy without running out of addresses. Don't let networking hold up your migration. 🌐👇 #CloudMigration #GoogleCloud #VPC #DevOps #Aviato

Our new capabilities within Omnis KlearSight Sensor for Kubernetes provide packet-level visibility into Kubernetes containers to help enterprises tackle one of the toughest challenges in cloud environments. Packet-level visibility into Kubernetes containers is increasingly vital for regulatory compliance, particularly as containerized workloads become the backbone of modern cloud-native architectures. We’re helping people understand what happened, where, and when – and have the evidence to prove it. https://bit.ly/49bd8vZ NETSCOUT

Many businesses still think scaling means purchasing bigger servers, adding more capacity, and dealing with complex monitoring. But modern applications don’t need “more hardware”, they need serverless architecture. At Minterminds, we help companies upgrade from traditional servers to serverless platforms like AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, and Azure Functions. Why Serverless Is a Game-Changing Upgrade: ✔️ Zero server maintenance ✔️ Auto-scaling on demand ✔️ Reduced infrastructure costs ✔️ Faster deployments ✔️ Pay only for actual usage Instead of managing servers, your team finally focuses on building the product. For apps with unpredictable traffic, this upgrade saves money, improves reliability, and makes scaling effortless, without touching infrastructure. Thinking of scaling your app the smart way? Serverless might be the upgrade you need. #Serverless #CloudComputing #ScaleBetter #MinterMinds

At Groq, standing up observability backends and agents for a new datacenter only takes about 15 minutes from `git checkout -b` to successfully querying telemetry. Automating processes like this one and reducing toil enables a (some would say undersized) small team to support telemetry for tens of thousands of nodes both on-prem and in the cloud. Find the right abstractions. Build the tooling to be able to refactor mercilessly. Then mercilessly refactor.

Proxmox is an underrated platform for modern development and Kubernetes experimentation. By combining KVM virtual machines and LXC containers in a single, open-source hypervisor, Proxmox enables developers to build realistic, production-like environments on modest hardware. It is well suited for spinning up Kubernetes clusters, testing CI/CD pipelines, validating infrastructure-as-code, and simulating multi-node architectures. With features such as snapshots, clustering, software-defined storage, and robust networking, Proxmox provides fine-grained control without cloud lock-in. For teams seeking a cost-effective lab, edge deployments, or hands-on Kubernetes learning, Proxmox offers flexibility, transparency, and enterprise-grade capabilities. #proxmox #cloud

Elastic platforms demand elastic performance validation. At #RTCTek, cloud-native performance engineering reflects real production dynamics. We deploy ephemeral, containerized load agents and serverless traffic injectors that scale in real time alongside application workloads. Performance is validated not only at peak load, but during autoscaling transitions, cold starts, and control-plane contention the moments when cloud systems are most vulnerable. This ensures your platform remains performant during growth, disruption, and uncertainty. Before Kubernetes 1.35, increasing CPU or memory meant restarting the Pod, causing downtime, cache loss, and noisy alerts. To avoid this, teams often over-allocated resources, which increased cloud costs. What’s new? In-place Pod resource resizing Adjust CPU and memory without restarting Why it matters: Less downtime Fewer alerts More stable systems Cost benefits: Start small, scale only when needed Reduce wasted cloud spend Key takeaway: Kubernetes is moving beyond scheduling - toward smarter runtime resource management. #Kubernetes #DevOps #SRE #PlatformEngineering #K8s #CloudOps
