Software Engineer in Test

Hiring: SDET (Data Services) | Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL | Hybrid (3 Days WFO)

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Data Services team and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of complex data products.

Location: Dallas, TX or Tampa, FL

Duration: 6 Months (High possibility of extension)

Interview Process:

Round 1 – Virtual

Round 2 – In-person (Dallas / Tampa)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & build scalable Python-based test automation frameworks (Pytest)

• Validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and reporting systems

• Create and maintain test datasets for functional validation

• Develop automated scripts for data ingestion, transformation & output validation

• Perform deep data validation using SQL across multiple data sources

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation

• Analyze test results, identify root causes & collaborate with dev teams

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in Software Testing (Data/ETL focus)

• Strong hands-on experience with Pytest & Python automation

• Solid expertise in SQL for data validation & analysis

• Experience with CI/CD tools & version control systems

• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

• Exposure to Snowflake, AWS, and cloud data platforms

• Knowledge of data governance, data quality & metadata tools
