Sr. SQL Developer – 100% remote

Duration: 12 months to start with a high probability of extension or conversion to permanent.

• Our client is going through an enterprise technology transformation moving off their legacy technology to a more modern stack and are focused on automating as much as possible and building better solutions moving forward.
• The hiring manager is looking for a true T-SQL expert who can analyze current queries, scripts, jobs, and stored procedures, and help build more efficient programming solutions.
• They are not looking for SQL Developers who rely on tools like SSRS and SSIS because this specific group does not use them.
• While SQL background is still the primary requirement, any knowledge in other coding languages like C#, Java, Python, etc. is a plus.
• They need a SQL Developer with an engaging personality and excellent communication skills who can think out of the box.
• Experience with SQL views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to generate reports that will help analyze data more efficiently and contribute to more informed decision-making.
• Strong Ad hoc report creation using T-SQL is must.
• Strong experience in query optimization techniques such as indexing and performance tuning to improve database performance and responsiveness.
• Experience creating clustered and non-clustered indexes and optimizing T-SQL statements.
