Senior / Lead Backend Engineers - Greenfield Fintech

Salary: £95,000 - £140,000 + bonus

Our client is expanding its consumer fintech offering through a high-growth accelerator, focused on delivering a series of greenfield products to market. This is not a traditional transformation programme- these are brand-new builds, designed from the ground up, with a packed and ambitious technical roadmap ahead.
As part of this expansion, we are seeking Senior and Lead Backend Engineers who want to play a key role in shaping modern, scalable platforms and have a genuine impact from day one.
You’ll be working in fast-paced, collaborative squads, building cloud-native systems using modern engineering practices. The environment is data-driven, product-focused, and centred around delivering real value to customers.

What you’ll be doing
Designing and building scalable, resilient distributed systems
Contributing to architectural decisions across greenfield platforms
Writing clean, secure, and maintainable code
Ensuring high performance, reliability, and zero-downtime releases
Collaborating in cross-functional squads and contributing to engineering best practices
Experience working with distributed systems and cloud technologies
A problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and ownership
Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
Passion for learning, collaboration, and building high-quality products
