  • Humaans × Zinc: Now integrated 🎉 Background checks are a critical part of hiring, but the reports always end up somewhere else. An email attachment, a downloads folder, a tab you forgot to close. Now they don't have to be. With the Zinc integration, completed background check reports sync automatically to employee profiles in Humaans, keeping your records accurate and your process moving, across 190+ countries. Read more about the integration in comments.

Just back from Transform in Las Vegas. 🇺🇸 Spent three days talking to many senior HR & People leaders. Here's what I took away. 🔹 AI isn't a topic anymore. It's the new operating context. Not a single person I spoke to isn't actively building an AI strategy for their People function. And they have full top-down support to do it. 🔹 HR operators are questioning their entire stack. HR has historically been one of the most risk-averse buying functions. The majority of leaders I spoke to are re-evaluating everything from the ground up. The alternative is becoming obsolete. The sharpest operators are moving fast. 🔹 Everyone is both building and buying. Building to experiment, learn, understand what's possible. Buying where it gets serious: sensitive data, compliance, complex workflows, craft. I don't see a world where companies vibe-code their own HR solutions and ship them to employees without real product design behind the experience. The winners will do both, but know where the line is. 🔹 AI fatigue is real. Every vendor is bolting on AI features inside their own system. People teams are drowning in new interfaces and new ways of working across every tool they use. This is exactly why Athena's approach resonated so strongly. One orchestration layer. One entry point through Slack or Teams. Not 15 different AI features scattered across 15 different products for people to learn. 🔹 Nobody has answers. And they know it. There's no social proof yet. No playbook. No company that's figured this out and can be copied. People leaders are more open than I've ever seen them to being guided, educated, partnered with. The vendors who show up as thought partners and not just sellers will win this cycle. 🔹 The efficiency mandate is real, even if nobody says it out loud. Most People leaders driving AI initiatives have headcount efficiency behind it. Either cutting roles or not adding them. Few are saying it publicly, but privately, that's the conversation. 🔹 This is existential for a lot of companies. Software, professional services, across the board. Business moats are being questioned. Velocity is increasing and not slowing down. Companies are rethinking them org model entirely. And they're doing it fast because they don't have a choice. Everyone is trying to make sense of something they don't yet fully understand and moving quickly, even without perfect clarity, to figure it out. This was the most energising conference I've been to in years. Excited to support teams navigating this shift. Thank you to the many incredible people who stopped by the Humaans booth and shared their time, their challenges, and their thinking with us. It means the world. See you next year, Vegas. 🎲

  • What a day at #PXLive2026 | London! We were proud to headline sponsor this year's event — a room of 100+ forward-thinking People Experience leaders coming together to share ideas, challenge thinking, and build something that feels more like a movement than a conference. Watching the energy in that room reminded us exactly why we do what we do. The people who care most about employee experience are the same people pushing the boundaries of what People Ops can be, and we want to keep building for them. Big congratulations to the SapienX team, Luke O'Mahoney and the whole crew who made the day happen- and a big thank you to every speaker, facilitator, and attendee who brought the energy that made it special, including feature partners HowNow and Huggg. Counting down to next year 🎉

Woah. What an incredible day! PX Live | London, 2026... you were a blast! 😍 🥳 What happen's when you bring 100 of the most progressive thinkers and builders in People Experience (PX) together? Alchemy. Inspiration. Energy. Community. Connection. All the good stuff! 💜 Thank you to everyone who was in the room and to all who wished they could be, and supported us from afar 🙏🏻 Coffee was drunk. Ideas shared. Friendships formed. A movement fuelled. I will have some deeper reflections on the content and outcomes from the day in future posts. In fact, I am going to share a full reflection in my newsletter this week and talk through my single biggest takeaway... More than a takeaway really. Something crystallised for me on the day. Something I have been tussling with intellectually for the last 2 years. Finally, on Friday during PX Live, it clicked. 💡 For now, I want to say a HUGE thank you to: The incredible speakers and facilitators that brought so much value to the day. It's their insights and passion for progress which makes the day most valuable. Glenn Martin, JooBee Yeow, PhD, Thomas Forstner, Vanessa Monsequeira - चित्रलेखा, Alicia Grimes, Chris Metcalfe and Dart Lindsley... You are all wonderful people, a constant source of inspiration, and mostly; great friends. So much love, respect and gratitude for you all 💜 🫶🏻 Our brilliant sponsors, without whom events like this would not be possible: Headline: Humaans 😍 Partner: HowNow 🧠 Feature: Huggg 🎁 Special thanks to Jade Adams, Kelsey Botne, and Lewis Quick who shared their own views on the future of the People profession on the day 🙏🏻 To all those who attended and immersed themselves in the day so fully. The quality of a room is defined by the people in it 💜 🫶🏻 Our truly spectacular venue for the day, #SamsungKX (and to Holly Leckenby Rye's dad who led the project to build the venue, as fate would have it 👏🏻) And last but not least, the SapienX event team who worked (relentlessly and obsessively) behind the scenes to make the day what it was. Led by my incredible wife, partner in business and in life; Nishita O'Mahoney 💜 That's a wrap on PX Live | London, 2026 🎬 We don't get long to rest. Next up, we have our 2x Immersive PX learning experiences coming up in May and June... More on those to come, but for those interested 👀 📆 May - Immersive PX Level 1: PX Product Management Foundations 📆 June - Immersive PX Level 2: PX Product Leadership, Strategy, & Exec Influence Feeling nothing but love and gratitude. For Nish. For the community. For life. ✌🏻💜

We are just 2 days away from PX Live | London 🥳 A lot of work goes in to making days like this possible, not least from everyone at SapienX who are relentless in pursuit of creating experiences of meaning and connection 🫶 The truth is, we would not be able to put these kinds of experience together if it wasn't for the wonderful sponsors and partners who are as committed to supporting the progressive People and HR community as we are 🙏🏻 So, we want to say a huge thank you to our Headline sponsor: Humaans 💜 Giovanni Luperti and the whole team at Humaans have been incredible in their support of SapienX and our PX series, we are very proud of our partnership 🫶 Thanks also to HowNow 🧠 our partner sponsor Georgia Inwood and team have been great to work with and have provided some of the funkiest swag 👀 Great product, great people, great swag 🥳 And to our feature sponsor Huggg 🎁 We have been working with Lewis Quick and the Huggg team for a few months now. PX Live is the latest activation of our partnership, we love what Huggg stand for; thoughtful recognition over transactional gifting 😍 Everyone at SapienX is a deeply grateful for partners like these who are committed to supporting People teams in designing and building a better experience of work, for all 🫶
