ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಭಾರತ ದೇಸೊದ ತೆನಕ್ಕಾಯಿಡ್ ಉಪ್ಪುನ ಒಂಜಿ ರಾಜ್ಯೊ. 1956ನೇ ಇಸವಿಡ್ ಮೈಸೂರು ರಾಜ್ಯೊಂದು ಉದಯೊ ಆಂಡ್. ೧೯೭೨ಡ್ ಮೈಸೂರು ರಾಜ್ಯೊ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕೊ ರಾಜ್ಯೊಂದು ಪುದರ್ ಬತ್ತ್ಂಡ್. ಇಂದೆಕ್ ಕಾರಣೊ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕೊದ ಸುರುತ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನೊನು ಆದರಿತ್‍ದ್ ೧೯೫೦ಡ್, ೧೯೫೬ಡ್ ಸುತ್ತುಮುತ್ತುದ ರಾಜ್ಯೊಲೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಪ್ರದೇಸೊಲೆನ್ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕೊಕು ಸೇರಾಯರಾಂಡ್. ಮುಲ್ತ ಆಡಳಿತ ಬಾಸೆ ಕನ್ನಡ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನೆತ್ತ ರಾಜಧಾನಿ. ತುಳುನಾಡ್ದ ಮಲ್ಲ ಭಾಗ ಈ ರಾಜ್ಯಗ್ ಸೇರುಂಡು. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕನ್ ಪ್ರಾಕೃತಿಕವಾದ್ ಮೂಜಿ ವಿಭಾಗ ಆದ್ ಮಲ್ಪೊಲಿ. ಅವು - ಕರಾವಳಿ, ಮಲೆನಾಡ್ ಬುಕ್ಕ ಬಯಲ್ ಸೀಮೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶ. ಇತ್ತೆದ ದಿನೊಟ್ ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾದ್ ಬುಳೆವೊಂದುಪ್ಪುನ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಉಂದು.^[೧೨]

"ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ" ಪನ್ಪಿ ಪುದರ್‌ಗ್ ಅನೇಕೊ ವ್ಯುತ್ಪತ್ತಿಲೆನ್ ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸದೆರ್. ಮಾಂತೆಡ್‍ತ್ಲ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ್ ವ್ಯುತ್ಪತ್ತಿ ಪಂಡ "ಕರು+ನಾಡು" ಪನ್ಪುನೆಡ್ದ್ ಪುಟ್‍ದ್ಂಡ್. ಕರು ನಾಡು ಪಂಡ ಕಪ್ಪು ಮಣ್ಣ್‌ದ ನಾಡ್ನಾ. "ಎತ್ತರೊದ ಪ್ರದೇಸೊ" ಪನ್ಪುನ ಅರ್ತೊಲ ಉಂಡು. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕೊ ರಾಜ್ಯೊ ಸಮುದ್ರೊ ಮಟ್ಟೊಡ್ದ್ ಸರಾಸರಿ ೧೫೦೦ ಅಡಿ ಎತ್ತರೊಡು ಉಂಡು. ಉಂದು ಬಾರತೊಡು ದಿಂಜ ಎತ್ತರೊ ಉಪ್ಪುನ ರಾಜ್ಯೊಲೆಡ್ ಒಂಜಿ.
