AI development is moving faster than ever, but accessing the compute to power it remains a bottleneck. Managing remote nodes, navigating rigid cloud bundles, and paying for idle infrastructure slows down innovation. Today, we are changing that. Ocean Network Beta is officially ON! We have built a decentralized orchestration layer that allows data scientists and developers to run AI workloads on premium NVIDIA GPUs, straight from their IDEs, with zero DevOps overhead. We call it moving from manual infrastructure management to pure automatiON. Here is how the platform solves the core coordination problem of decentralized compute: • Direct IDE Integration: Run containerized jobs seamlessly from VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or Antigravity using the Ocean Orchestrator. • Complete Hardware Flexibility: We eliminated preset bundles. You map your exact requirements by selecting the specific GPU model, CPU, and RAM. • Pay-Per-Use Economics: You are charged strictly for active compute time, starting as low as $2.16/GPU hour. Our escrow mechanism ensures you pay zero costs for idle time. • Frictionless Execution: The Orchestrator packages your code, runs it securely in an isolated container on yout chosen node, and automatically pulls the logs and results back to your local folder. This seamless, code-to-node experience is made possible by integrating best-in-class infrastructure from our partners: smart wallets by Alchemy, high-speed USDC settlements on Base, and premium NVIDIA hardware supplied by Aethir. To help teams experience this transition risk-free, we are offering $100 in complimentary compute credits to early Beta users. Visit https://oncompute.ai/ to claim your credits, read the documentation (https://docs.oncompute.ai/), and deploy your first job today! (P.S. For infrastructure operators: Monetization for independent Node Runners will be opening soon)

The privacy-preserving data sharing protocol for AI and the #NewDataEconomy
About us
Ocean Protocol is a decentralized data exchange protocol that unlocks data for AI. Ocean Protocol uses advanced blockchain technology that allows data to be shared and sold in a safe, secure and transparent manner. We enable a decentralized platform and network that connects providers and consumers of valuable data, while providing open access for developers to build services. Ocean Protocol uses a thoughtful application of both technology and governance for more equitable outcomes for users of data. Our team combines a deep background in big data, blockchain, artificial intelligence and data exchanges, with real-world business experience as entrepreneurs, designers and technologists who have started over 20 companies.

Distributed compute sounds great, until a GPU Node disappears halfway through your job. Failures are normal at scale. What matters is how predictably the system handles them. Ocean Network is being designed with this in mind: 1. Jobs run in isolated containers, so failures stay contained 2. Payments are released only when a job is successfully completed 3. Billing reflects actual runtime, not reserved time 4. Benchmarking, monitoring, and reputation help filter unreliable nodes, while users stay in control of where and how workloads run And soon, running AI workloads may no longer start in a cloud console, it may start directly from your IDE. #IDE #AI #GPU

Ocean Nodes bring decentralized computing with features designed for scaling AI/ML workloads Builders will get access to geographically distributed compute to train, fine-tune, and run models without relying on centralized cloud providers Plus, with Ocean C2D, your data and algorithms stay sealed inside containers. Compute goes to the container, the job runs, and only the output is returned This is an AI infrastructure that lets you scale globally while encouraging sovereignty Learn more: https://lnkd.in/dy3bB93z

GPUs are becoming long-term infrastructure assets as AI workloads continue to scale. Most GPUs today are either underutilized or locked inside isolated environments. Decentralized compute networks aim to change that by allowing GPU owners to contribute capacity to shared, geographically distributed systems that power real AI workloads. Ocean Nodes will soon enable connecting GPUs to such a network, enabling compute to be monetized and used where it’s needed. If you’re interested in how sovereign, decentralized compute is being designed at the infrastructure level, this is worth a look: https://lnkd.in/dy3bB93z #gpu #ai #datascience

Great AI starts with clean labels. The Annotators Hub turns data annotation into a global effort with: -clear, short guides -built-in quality reviews -transparent rewards Why it matters: better labels reduce bias, improve generalization, and keep models reliable over time. We’re building fair, high-quality datasets across education, healthcare, and more. Next challenge goes live this week. If you’re a student, researcher, bilingual contributor, or just curious about AI quality, this is for you.
