A 10-year "Googleversary" is the perfect time to look back at the journey. For Emily, Head of Pixel Ecosystem Product Ops in Mountain View, that journey has been about scaling alongside Google’s hardware from the very beginning. “I’ve been in the Platforms and Devices group since the conception of the hardware team,” she says. “It's been wild watching the organization grow at lightspeed. I’ve created and grown teams, developed processes and worked across all major time zones, learning so much along the way.” That same passion for building from the ground up led her to joining Latinas @ Google and helping shape the Women@ in Devices & Services Employee Resource Group (ERG), where she focused on creating a vision that would last. “I loved creating a structure that allowed the team to operate efficiently,” Emily says. But Emily isn’t the only one making an impact. She found Mandu, her 83lb Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix, through an internal "Doogler" group, and who is now something of a campus celebrity. “She's more popular than I am!" as Emily puts it. Emily’s advice: "Don’t be afraid to ask questions even if they feel basic and to challenge processes that may not make immediate sense." And of course, “Build relationships and have fun.” Explore Devices and Services careers at Google → https://goo.gle/4vGO2yh

Welcome to Meadow Point, our newest campus in San Jose, California. It’s home to Google’s Core team, the experts behind the technical infrastructure and AI-first experiences that keep Google products running smoothly. We believe great work starts with a great place to do it. This campus features a beautiful meadow courtyard filled with native plants and trees that support local pollinators and provide access to nature 🦋 🐝. This week at YouTube’s Brandcast, Neal Mohan shared the latest YouTube updates for brands, creators and advertisers. See what’s new ⬇️
Feeling so inspired after another #Brandcast, thanks to the brands, creators and partners who have made YouTube their home. For decades, the entertainment industry programmed shows based on formulas and focus groups, guessing at what would make an audience show up. At YouTube, we didn't wait for a focus group. We built a stage and empowered anyone with a story to find an audience. Today, YouTubers are the new stars and studios, making every cultural moment bigger. Whether it’s the Artemis launch, Super Bowl or the Oscars, fans come to YouTube to immerse themselves through the lens of their favorite creators. None of this happened by accident. For more than two decades, we’ve focused on staying one step ahead of how the world watches. Years ago we predicted people would want to watch YouTube on the biggest screen in their home so we invested in the TV viewing experience. Today, we’ve been #1 in streaming watchtime in the US for 3 years. We know that to keep viewers coming back, we have to build the best possible home for our creators. That’s why we’ve invested in the infrastructure they need to thrive, from pioneering the creator economy to scaling their reach with auto-dubbing to unlocking AI-powered video creation tools. For advertisers, the modern marketing playbook has been rewritten. How they build a brand and deliver performance has completely shifted. With YouTube, they can tap into trust, partner with creators to unlock huge ROI, and use the most advanced AI in the world to drive results like never before. On top of all of this: for the first time at Brandcast, we brought them an inside look into our new slate of YouTube-exclusive Creator Shows, all of which can be sponsored. The biggest names in media are officially recognizing YouTube as their primary network. A huge thank you to our host Trevor Noah, to Zara Larsson and Chappell Roan for unforgettable performances, to the creators and partners who joined us on-stage and in the audience, and to our amazing YouTube team who brought the show to life. The future of media is being built on YouTube, and the most exciting part is that we’re just getting started.
