Sculpt 2026 is coming back. October 8th. Pier 48. San Francisco. And I'm even MORE excited this year. Here's why: It's bigger. More people, more speakers, more energy. Last year we had GTM builders from Anthropic, OpenAI, Canva, Intercom, and Vanta onstage — and this year we're gonna showcase *even cooler things*. And the profession itself has evolved. GTM engineering has changed so much in the last 12 months. The playbooks that were cutting-edge at last year's Sculpt have already become outdated. That's how fast this space is moving. If you want to be in a room full of the people building the future of go-to-market — this is the day. Tickets are live 👇🏽 sculpt.clay.com

Our users created more than 600 Functions in the first 12 hours of rollout. That's why we sent our resident product noob brad haft to bother his fellow Claymates and ask: "How are you actually using these?" Luca Prando (GTM Ops) went first. He calls Functions "a goated waterfall" and uses them to save time. Our reps send outbound alllll day. Luca was tired of watching the same personalization logic get rebuilt across every rep's table. So... he turned the whole thing into one reusable Function: Input: One email address Output: A batch of personalized email variations 1. Snowflake query for contact intelligence 2. Another query for account intelligence 3. A lil genAI for natural, personalized copy 4. Push results to any table a rep is working in Result: ~50 hours saved per week. Functions are available on all paid plans including Legacy. 🌈 How are 🫵 using Functions so far? Drop your best use case (or biggest time-saver) in the comments.

cutest and best work activity: Bring Your Parents to Work Day. You will laugh, cry, and never to look at your coworkers the same way :'( I've hosted two so far at Clay; activities have included... -Have parents describe their kids' job -Make parents tell stories and have the audience guess the kid -Print out the kids' calendars and make parents act out vaguely named meetings (think "bug sync" and "dogfooding review") -Make some parents sell Clay to other parents in front of a live audience -Allow the parents to roam the office freely, share dad jokes, and comment on Mets hats and manchego cheese plates -Go dancing with the parents afterwards late into the night It's hard to not to feel closer to the people you interact with on Slack everyday once their parents have told you how they were baby arsonists, scared postal workers in full bodypaint, or illegally bought cars in foreign countries. Big hugs to all who have participated, especially Jessica Jin who helped wrangle these unsuspecting mamas and papas into basically doing live improv (pictured: v2 last year and v1 in 2023 at Clay's first Williamsburg office. We also hosted our first Bring Your Kids to Work day this year, so I guess we're getting older 👴 )

We made the Forbes AI 50 list again! 💛 We're beyond proud to be the only GTM company on it. The last 12 months was a busy year of shipping for us: + So far, there have been billions of runs using Claygent. + We connected Clay directly into the AI chats you use, so reps can prospect, enrich, and draft outreach w/o ever leaving the tools they already live in. + And yesterday we launched Functions. Now, you can build your best enrichment logic once, deploy it across every table, so your smartest logic becomes your org's default. Available on all plans (including legacy). Huge congrats to our incredible customers and partners pushing us every day: OpenAI, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Notion, Mistral AI, Perplexity, Cursor, Baseten, Legora, Harvey, Glean, and HeyGen. Zilch of this happens without you and we're stoked you made the list too!! 🙌

Introducing Functions. The core Clay workflows you've been rebuilding manually again, and again, and again from memory can now be built once + referenced everywhere. Define your data one time. Your team runs on it forever. Edit it centrally and it'll auto-update everywhere. Functions are like perfected recipes: a pizzaiolo uses the same amount of water, flour, salt, and yeast for every single pie, at every single table. Same idea. Learn more ⬇️ Chef's hat tip to Mark Iacono at Lucali for the 'za.

Hey students, want to spend your summer with Clay? 🫶 Today we are launching apps for the inaugural class of our Clay Campus Ambassador program. This first-ever class will have a unique front-row seat with us this summer, as they serve on our Clay on Campus Growth Committee and co-create the 2026-2027 program with us kicking off this fall. This is not just a free stuff and resume-building program (although we have that too). This program is designed for students to learn and train in GTM engineering, connect with our team, and have tangible outcomes of learning about this emerging career field and landing jobs at startups and tech co's! Here's the program breakdown: Phase 1: Learn Clay Selected students will participate in a one-week (mostly) async training program kicking off June 1 that will provide hands-on experience with Clay, help build a portfolio of Clay use cases directly correlated to careers in Growth, GTME, Sales, RevOps, or Product and some personal use cases, too. Phase 2: Program development After completing the training program, the Clay on Campus Growth Committee will collaborate directly with our team this summer during bi-monthly meetings to co-design the campus ambassador program. Phase 3: Launch and lead your campus club Once they've learned Clay and co-developed the program, Clay Campus Ambassadors will launch and lead their campus clubs for the 2026-2027 school year. This program is perfect for students interested in careers in GTME, Growth, GTM Engineering, Sales or Product. Questions? Email startups @ clay dot com.
