AI for coffee shops sounds RIDICULOUS Here's what I built with Clay ☕️ Coffee shops have the same problem as every B2B SaaS company They try to answer the same question: How do I get the right people to show up and try my product? Well, I met up with Jordanna who runs a neighborhood coffee shop and she wanted more people through the door to taste her new fall flavors. So we built her a system in Clay that: 1. does competitor cafe research on fall flavors 2. analyzes google reviews to see which flavors people love 3. invite customers from her IG and CRM to try the new fall flavor launch No paid ads. No spray-and-pray. Just targeted outreach to help her find and grow her best customers People who love good coffee. And... Got a business (or one in mind) that I should interview next? Comment down below! ☕️

The other day I was arguing with Obaid that Peter Parker is the only super hero that reports into marketing. And he was like, "he doesn't report into marketing, he's a photographer." And I was like, "yeah, art dept falls under marketing." And he was like, "okay, maybe in saas, but at a newspaper that's not really marketing." And then I was like, "what do you mean?" And he was like, "photographs are basically like part of the product in a newspaper. Not marketing." And I was like, "so what you're saying is he's a product led marketer?" And Obaid was like, "dude, no. Plus he's a freelancer anyway." And I was like, "that's an irrelevant argument. peter parker is the only product-led marketer in the marvel universe." Then Obaid paused and I was thinking, "yeah...got em." Then he just said, "No." And I was like, "huh?" And then he was like, "he's actually a performance marketer." And I was like, "there's no evidence that spider man worked as a performance marketer while simultaneously being a freelance photographer for the daily bugel." And he was like, "don't you remember that scene where Uncle Ben says the thing about great power and responsibility? It's like the most iconic line in Marvel." Then he brought up the scene (shown below) And I was like, "shit...you're right. He was a marketer." And Obaid was like, "yup." Then he left the huddle and I was like, "wait...that's what i said." Then I turned on The Dark Knight bc DC is better than Marvel. Also, if spider man was a performance marketer he would use #Clay's new ads feature. #ClayPartner

Our new product—Clay Ads—is officially live. Here's what our growth team did with it in 2 months: LinkedIn CPL dropped from $250 to $25. Exclusion lists that auto-sync to Salesforce mean ads only reach people who can actually buy. Existing customers, open opps, partners... none of them see our ads (on purpose 😏). Meta opened up as a whole new channel for us too. Normally, work emails don't line up with personal profiles, so B2B teams usually stay away. But now, Clay enriches contacts with personal emails before audiences ever hit the platform. And those audiences update on their own. When someone becomes a customer, they're out by the next day. When sales shifts priorities, the targeting shifts with them automatically, across both platforms. So no redownloading CSVs and no manual rebuilds. "It is ridiculously fast to run a matched audience. Maybe a few minutes to set up and then I can scale that out multiple times." — Talia Schleifer, SLG Growth, Clay And it's alllll on platforms where most B2B teams can't get the targeting to work. Tomorrow we're showing exactly how we built it + answering questions like: 1/ how does one Clay table sync to LinkedIn AND Meta simultaneously? 2/ what does a live CRM → audience setup actually look like? 3/ how do you make sure exclusion lists never go stale? 4/ how do you fix B2B match rates on Meta? Check this out. 30 Minutes to President's Club sent 6,474 personalized cold emails live on camera from Clay HQ in NY. Armand Farrokh and Chris Viglietta pulled 224K contacts from his LinkedIn + newsletter list, narrowed it down to engaged US sales leaders with 10+ reps on their teams, had Clay write personalized emails for every single one, and then sent it all through Clay's sequencer. Watch how they built the whole thing here: clay.link/UlVxolk

Almost every AI tool is still an enterprise experiment. But there are a few that have crossed over to core infrastructure territory. After analyzing our data, these companies have grown their customer footprint fastest in the last year (by total contract count among our customer base): 1. Cursor: +660% 2. Anthropic: +428% 3. Clay: +304% 4. Synthesia: +223% 5. Abnormal AI: +94% 6. Crossbeam: +88% 7. Wiz: +88% 8. Vitally: +86% You can get more data like this in our latest spend report: https://lnkd.in/ewAe3e4N For engineering teams: Cursor is becoming a must-have coding assistant. It's how developers work now. That 660% growth means it's showing up everywhere. For GTM teams: Clay is fundamentally changing how go-to-market operates. Growth that signals a real paradigm shift in workflows. For security: Wiz is scaling through enterprise land-and-expand. If you're an early adopter, negotiate enterprise pricing now before you hit their sweet spot. At these growth rates, these tools are becoming household names in the enterprise.  Procurement teams - be on the lookout, if you haven’t seen these requests come through yet, you will soon!

In EP3, we're giving away a brand new playbook that slashed our CPL to $25 on LinkedIn and $10 on Meta. This is How Clay Uses Clay for Ads. Davide (our Head of Growth Marketing) has been cooking on this for MONTHS alongside design partner teams Slack, Anthropic, and Rippling. We're ready to share: 1️⃣ ABM that syncs with sales Tier 1 accounts flow straight from CRM → ads platforms. Sales prospects them, marketing shows them congruent ads. No more siloed motions. 2️⃣ Dynamic exclusion lists that save 20% of budget Hundreds of thousands of people already in our ecosystem (existing customers, users, employees, agencies) were eating budget with minimal ROI. Now they're automatically excluded and constantly refreshed. 3️⃣ Full-funnel campaigns that adapt in real-time Low engagement accounts get awareness ads. Medium engagement gets social proof. Hot accounts get lead capture. All automated based on engagement signals. Is this possible without Clay? Maybe... but with: - 50% match rates on LinkedIn (vs. ~90%) - CSV hell across platforms with different formatting requirements - $50K black-box solutions with zero visibility - Manual updates every time your audience shifts Next Thursday (Feb 26th), Davide Grieco and Talia Schleifer are hosting the third installment of this build-along series to show you the exact setup end-to-end. List-building to platform sync to full-funnel orchestration. WE WANT TO HELP YOU SLASH YOUR CPL! (While keeping or even increasing precision). See you next week!
