Manually configuring MCP servers often means juggling API tokens, dealing with expired credentials, and troubleshooting broken connections. Now? With built-in OAuth support in our latest update, developers can securely connect to 60+ remote MCP servers- including Notion and Linear - in just two steps. Simple, secure, and built for real workflows.

What really helps you sleep after a deploy? According to our poll, over 500 devs say it’s not CI checks or signed images - it’s knowing your build is 100% reproducible. #Docker #DevTools #Reproducibility #CI #Containers

Developers: what’s changing in your workflow? What pain points make you lose sleep? What features would actually improve your workday? The 2025 Docker State of Application Development Survey is now live. It just takes a few minutes, and your feedback helps us shape the tools we build, & build them even better, for your workflow. Security is no longer just a code review - it’s an end-to-end supply chain discipline. On Nov 18, Docker VP of Product Michael Donovan and industry leaders will dig into approaches that make security default and invisible: - Building continuously verified pipelines - Operationalizing policy-as-code - Scaling guardrails without slowing delivery Register now: https://bit.ly/4oVhLiT #DevSecOps #SoftwareSupplyChain #SBOM #Docker #Security

What makes a language model "multimodal"? It's not magic - it’s a small projector layer, a translator that turns images and audio into tokens. In this issue of the Docker Labs AI Newsletter, we show you how to run multimodal models (text, image, and audio) with Docker Model Runner, explain how they work under the hood, and share hands-on demos to get you started. Build smarter AI apps that can actually see, and listen. #Docker #ModelRunner #Multimodal #LLM #AI #DevTools #MachineLearning

🚨 Bitnami pulling their container library isn’t just a blip - it’s a wake-up call. In this new piece on The New Stack, we dig into the real risks of open source dependency, why it’s more like a free puppy than a free beer, and how teams can build resilience before the next surprise hits. If you’re running containers in production, you’ll want to see this: https://lnkd.in/gpKb659U #Docker #OpenSource #SoftwareSupplyChain #Security #Containers #Bitnami #DevOps #TheNewStack

AI agents promise autonomy, but most still rely on manual MCP configs and hardcoded tools. The new Docker MCP Gateway flips that with Smart Search + Tool Composition, enabling agents to find, add, and compose tools on the fly, all within a secure, sandboxed environment. The result: agents that are not only more autonomous in discovering and configuring tools, but also more efficient, with significantly reduced token usage. Anthropic's recent post (see below) on building more efficient agents is well-timed. Our new features are making it real and pushing toward true autonomy. And it's not just for Docker. The same features extend to popular IDEs like Neovim and Zed via Agent Client Protocol (ACP) and cagent. 📘 Anthropic’s post: https://lnkd.in/gdQHnEA5 📘 Read the full blog 👇

What if you could spin up a clean, isolated dev environment in seconds AND have instant access to 200+ tools like GitHub, Perplexity, and ElevenLabs? Now you can. In this new video, Oleg Šelajev walks through how E2B Sandboxes, powered by Docker and integrated with the Docker MCP Catalog, unlock faster, safer workflows for devs building with agents and AI tools. No setup. No cleanup. All velocity. Watch the demo & see it in action: https://lnkd.in/g33S6uQZ #Docker #E2B #CloudNative #DevTools #Containers #AIagents #DeveloperExperience #MCP #OpenSource #GitHub
