We use our voice to ensure others don't use technology to harm communities, economies, and the institutions that underpin our way of life. We support the Paris Call for Trust and Security in Cyberspace as an important step toward digital peace.

We're putting responsible AI into practice throughout Microsoft. We’ve adopted AI principles to guide how we design, develop, and deploy our products. The Office of Responsible AI—alongside other internal groups—ensures we align to these principles.

New AI technologies like facial recognition have great potential to address societal issues but can interfere with fundamental human rights if misused. We've called for thoughtful government regulation and adopted our own principles and practices for responsible use.
