    Just as I thought @code couldn't get better, out comes its Remote Development plugins in the Stable version that lets you remote into containers as a dev environment! 😍 #DevTools

        Starting out means you only need Docker installed rather than 1733848492 other things. It's gonna be a game changer for sure!

        Yeah, the VS Code plugin has a bunch of templates which you can use to spin up a working Python environment pretty quickly! Just need Docker installed and create an account on there so you can download the Python image & let the plugin deal with the rest :)

        there is such an elegant beauty to using vs code. i want that same environment in my writing apps. i don't know functionally what more it could offer but just the colors and the aesthetic of it really feels nice...

        Yeah I think it's hard to beat when it comes to customising VS code's aesthetic! Apart from maybe more powerful refactoring support/search across files, I think it strikes a good balance of speed and functionality!

        I've been adopting this in my projects more and more. It makes for a really nice consistent development environment for teams IMHO. Still some caveats, but very useful already.
