The confinement of the modern day semiconductor devices is fast propelling the growth of nanoparticles as an excellent constituent of such device and the characteristics like quantum size confinement and coulomb blockade effect of the same is accelerating their application in this field. But before the fabrication of devices with the nanoparticles, their morphological and electrical characteristics needs to be studied in order to have a sense about the efficiency of such a device. In this experiment, Silicon nanoparticles have been deposited on SiO2 substrate by thermal decomposition of silane using Low Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition (LPCVD) Method with varying deposition times. This study, for the first time, aims to evaluate the situation of air quality in Pakistan critically; through a detailed assessment of sources, policies, and key challenges to identify the plausible way forward. Air pollution and particulate matter have merged as a global challenge in recent years because of its growing health and socioeconomic risks. The intensity and impacts of these risks have become more pronounced, especially in developing countries like Pakistan that lack adequate warning, protection, and management systems. Various epidemiological studies have linked poor air quality with different health disorders and increasing death rates. In Pakistan, mortality rates as a result of exposure to increased levels of air pollutants, especially particulate matter, are alarming. According to the World Bank's estimates, Pakistan's annual burden of disease from outdoor air pollution is responsible for around 22,000 premature adult deaths and 163,432 DALYs (disability-adjusted life years) lost. The concentration of major air pollutants in Pakistan, such as NOx, O 3, and SO 2 have also been increasing significantly over the last two decades. Several studies are also reporting multiple instances of air quality around the major cities of Pakistan being consistently exceeding the national guidelines. During teh year 2019 PM 2.5 cocnentrations in the city of Lahore revealed that almost every single day was in exceedance of the WHO and national air quality standards. Although the substantial effects of these rising pollutant concentrations in Pakistan have been stated in a few studies, however, the total extent, nature of contributing factors, and consequences remain inadequately understood. This study aims to use data available from monitoring stations, satellites, and literature to highlight the gaps in our understanding and emphasize the critical challenges associated with poor air quality faced in Pakistan. Topmost is the lack of air quality monitoring systems followed by poor initiatives by policymakers and enforcement agencies. A way forward while addressing these key challenges is also discussed, which focuses on the development of flexible monitoring, new technologies, and monitoring approaches in addition to communications among the various public, private agencies, and all relevant stakeholders.

Atomic force microscopy provides a novel technique for differentiating the mechanical properties of various cell types. Cell elasticity is abundantly used to represent the structural strength of cells in different conditions. In this study, we are interested in whether physical or physiological cues affect cell elasticity in Atomic force microscopy (AFM)-based assessments. The physical cues include the geometry of the AFM tips, the indenting force and the operating temperature of the AFM. All of these cues show a significant influence on the cell elasticity assessment. Sharp AFM tips create a two-fold increase in the value of the effective Young's modulus (E(eff)) relative to that of the blunt tips. Higher indenting force at the same loading rate generates higher estimated cell elasticity. Foreword: This paper was shortlisted in 2012 by the Royal Society of Chemistry as a contending hypothesis to explain the phenomenon known as the Mpemba Effect: whereby warm samples of water are sometimes observed to freeze more rapidly than colder samples of water under the same conditions. The presented hypothesis was ultimately deemed too radical an idea by the committee, because it contravenes received scientific wisdom on the thermodynamics of water. However, the theory obeys fundamental laws of physics and logic, and therefore offers an empirically tenable new paradigm about the behaviour of water that has potential significance for our understanding of the science of water and associated phenomena, including global warming. It is named Density Interface Energy Acquisition (DIEA). When water freezes it expands in volume, which is a rare characteristic shared with only few other substances, such as bismuth and antimony. Scientific law demands that for a substance to expand against atmospheric pressure it requires energy. Therefore, water requires energy from the environment in order to freeze, which appears to contradict the very concept of freezing, which is generally taken to mean the result of a linear loss of energy. This is why warm water can freeze more rapidly than colder water under controlled conditions, as it uses the additional energy to undergo the expansion process, thereby explaining the Mpemba Effect. This paradigm shows that ice is an energy store, which opposes received wisdom. It means that melting ice relinquishes that energy, thereby accelerating the melting process exponentially by providing the environment with more energy to warm the air. Clearly this has profound implications, as it means that a global thaw would be self-amplifying and result in a switching effect rather than a gradual process. The energy storage capacity of ice can be precisely calculated by the effort required to displace the atmosphere, so we know how much energy it surrenders when it melts. The amount of energy stored by ice is quite low per unit volume, but ice exists in vast quantities, so the accumulative effect of a thaw is to release enough energy to raise atmospheric temperature significantly. Warmer air means more ice melts, which means more energy is released to the atmosphere than the amount of energy used for the melting itself. In reverse, water relinquishes energy as it cools to zero degrees centigrade, but it then uses energy to become ice. Thus, if water is cooled very slowly to zero but has no access to expansive energy it will remain as a liquid and become supercooled. This can be achieved under carefully controlled conditions, as even vibrations can provide kinetic energy for the supercooled water to harvest for the purpose of forming ice. The kinetic energy doesn't raise the water temperature because it is solely used for expansion. The new paradigm counters common intuition, yet it conforms with fundamental physical principles and logic. The crucial detail is that it takes energy to push against atmospheric pressure. It is Newton's third law that states, whenever two objects interact they exert equal and opposite forces on one another. Ice would be unable to expand against the atmosphere without exerting force and the required energy has to come from somewhere. Furthermore, the energy cannot be stolen from the water itself, unless it has surplus, as that would require it to fall further in temperature within an environment that does not. Thus, the Mpemba Effect has revealed an unexpected behaviour in water that has been hiding in plain sight.

Whether we can continue to consider the electromagnetic field stable or grossly miscalculated depends on how you see the relationship of a neutron star chemically displacing itself as a single fixed rate of speed. We cannot continue to isolate raw potential as data traveling an elliptical orbit of space without considering equal amounts of isometric pressure as the prevailing measurement that will fundamentally displace itself isometrically.
