Former Cedexis CEO and F5 executive to drive the next phase of company growth
AppViewX, a global leader in the management, automation, and orchestration of network services, today announced that Ryan Windham has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Windham’s background in Enterprise IT and history of driving market-leading products and services will bolster AppViewX’s vision of providing an automation platform to transform NetOps and SecOps.
Former CEO Anand Purusothaman will continue as Chairman of the Board. Purusothaman will partner with Windham and the rest of the leadership team to further accelerate AppViewX’s growth in the network automation marketplace.

Ryan Windham was previously CEO at Cedexis, which was acquired by Citrix Systems in February. Prior to Cedexis, Windham was VP of Product Management at F5 Networks, where he drove product and business strategy. Before joining F5 Networks, Windham spent 10 years at Websense where, among other roles, he led Product Development and Cloud Operations for the company’s market-leading Security-as-a-Service platform.
