Israeli Army finally released the video of Ahmed’s car crash and execution. The only thing more enraging than this video being used as “evidence” of an attempted attack on soldiers are the journos who have watched it and are asking my family for comment.

Few things would bring a speedy end to the military occupation of the West Bank like dissolving the PA. Israel will no longer be able to pretend the problem is “the other side doesn’t want peace” because there will be no other side. The PA has been the occupation’s greatest gift

One thing about this piece is that even if Dermer's tired anti-Palestinian talking points and swipes at Obama were true, what you're left with is still a justification for apartheid.

It’s been 3 weeks since Iyad al Halak, a Palestinian resident of Jerusalem with autism, was shot and killed by Israeli police. No one has been charged or tried.

Over the years I've collected the earliest references to the modern Palestinian people. This piece is about the first 8 Palestinians dating from the late-19th and early 20th centuries.

The term “Arab” has evolved significantly over the past 1300 years — and continues to do so today and that’s because human beings made up the term. It’s totally invented. Thus, it’s false to say people are or aren’t Arab

Palestinians will live under occupation after annexation the same way they live under occupation today. Whereas Israelis are realizing annexation makes things look a lot more like apartheid, and apparently some are uncomfortable with that

Did Iraq & Afghanistan Wars contribute to the militarization of US police departments? Data are pretty clear. Surplus military equipment transferred to local law enforcement (via 1033 program) steadily rose starting in mid-00s, followed by spikes after 2010.
