La idea de construcción matemática está determinada por la concepción lógica de nuestro pensamiento. Existe una tendencia natural en esta concepción por la generalización de los conceptos que ha servido como una metodología para alcanzar un entendimiento más claro de dichos conceptos. Algo similar sucede en la construcción de sistemas numéricos que ha dado lugar al desarrollo del álgebra abstracta. Por la conquista de la universalidad, en la lucha del pensamiento por alcanzar dicha generalización, nos hemos visto en la irremediable situación de generar un sistema que permita que cada paso dado sea sólido y definitivo. Al definir ciertas propiedades matemáticas, un sistema algebraico, es puesto en alguna categoría algebraica bien definida que delimita los alcances de dicha estructura algebraica. El uso o aplicaciones que tenga algún sistema algebraico servirá de herramienta y abrirá camino en el entendimiento de la naturaleza de los fenómenos que conciernen al pensamiento humano. Se ha dilucidado de manera muy breve el camino que se ha seguido en la historia de la extensión del campo de los complejos; un enigma interesante y elusivo, sin duda. Algunas propuestas a este problema han emergido de grandes mentes y se les ha visto fracasar por su alto grado de complejidad o su falta de solidez en su estructura matemática. Algunas otras no convencen del todo a la comunidad científica que se dispone a hacer uso de estas herramientas. Tal es el caso de los cuaternios que funcionan de manera sobresaliente en cuanto a que este sistema conserva la mayoría de las propiedades de campo excepto que no es un álgebra conmutativa y se limita a 1+3 dimensiones.

Geobacillus stearothermophilus is a gram-positive, thermophilic bacterium, spores of which are very heat resistant. Raman spectroscopy and differential interference contrast microscopy were used to monitor the kinetics of germination of individual spores of G. stearothermophilus at different temperatures, and major conclusions from this work were as follows. 1) The CaDPA level of individual G. stearothermophilus spores was similar to that of Bacillus spores. However, the Raman spectra of protein amide bands suggested there are differences in protein structure in spores of G. stearothermophilus and Bacillus species. 2) During nutrient germination of G. stearothermophilus spores, CaDPA was released beginning after a lag time (T(lag)) between addition of nutrient germinants and initiation of CaDPA release. Inclusions in free-standing smectic films are simple model systems for two-dimensional anisotropic dispersions. From theory and experiment, different topologies of elastic distortions of the embedding liquid crystal are known. Quadrupolar and different dipolar defect configurations in the vicinity of the inclusion are possible, and these configurations determine the type of interactions between the inclusions. The quadrupolar configuration is often energetically preferred. We show, however, that dipolar director configurations around inclusions can be energetically favourable over quadrupolar arrangements in chiral smectics, as a consequence of a spontaneous-bend term in the elastic-energy formulation. As the inclusion size influences the selection of the deformation types, the corresponding spontaneous-bend constant can be estimated for the strong anchoring limit if the c -director fields around inclusions of different diameters are taken into account.

This dissertation draft is written with a purpose to apply for a PhD in Divinity/Theology with
emphasis on the interface between Theology and Science. So far there is only one seminary
which is willing to accept my proposal to submit a dissertation based on previously published
papers. But if there are other seminaries/institutes willing to consider this dissertation draft, I will

The objective of this dissertation is to discuss and to explore a new Cosmology model which is
biblically sound and scientifically acceptable, inspired by Cosmic Christology of the Johannine
Prologue. Therefore I shall also discuss the idea of cosmology based on the Johannine Prologue

For thousands of years humans have reported anomalous manifestations such as seeing/hearing ghosts, being touched by an invisible entity, anomalous smells, etc.  Because these perceived manifestations are seen, heard or felt, a physical environmental change should have occurred.  The Center for Paranormal Research and Investigation conducted data collection projects at various historic sites throughout Virginia where perceived manifestations have been reported over a period of several years.  The data collected included temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, geomagnetic field intensity, electromagnetic field intensity, ionizing radiation, visible light and ultraviolet light.  This data was collected over time and audio/video recordings near the environmental sensors provided evidence of perceived manifestations for comparison.  Analysis of the data showed that there may indeed have been an environmental change occurring during a perceived manifestation, though the environmental effects seem to be localized to near the source of the perceived manifestation.  Also, the type of environmental change seemed to be different depending on whether the manifestation was perceived as interactive (direct contact, smell, etc.) or non-interactive.  More work needs to be performed to determine whether the environmental changes detected were caused by the perceived manifestations or were only a factor in their perception

All scientists are very much known with statistics and that is a great thing. But statistics can also work against science as also is known when statistics is used in a wrong way. There is however also a way in which statistics can work against reality in a less known way. To that, this paper is conveying the message that a mathematical correct probability does not necessarily equals measurable reality. What is the probability that 1.000.000.000 coins all land heads up ? That is fairly easy to calculate if we have a perfect 50/50 coin. That chance is (1/2)^1.000.000.000 which is a  slim chance. The mathematical probability is real ! No argue about that. But how real/realistic is the actual happening that 1 billion coins will observably all land heads up ?. Is physical reality the same as mathematical probability ? Does math always line up with reality ? and do we scientists dare to be honest about that in all cases ?

Like in Newtonian kinematics, the relativistic change of reference frame must be a vector system of transformation laws for position, velocity and acceleration. In special relativity, when changing the reference frame the coordinates of a moving point is transformed using Lorentz transformation. But the velocity-addition formula that transforms velocity is in a too different mathematical form than the Lorentz transformation. And for acceleration, there is not a transformation at all. The theory of Time relativity that I develop provides a coherent vector system of transformation laws for position, velocity and acceleration.
