Macedonian literature

This paper is based on the study of multidisciplinary correlation between literature and music, which is, in other words, the study of symbolism and musical aspects of wind in the short story “Zurlo`s most beautiful day”, written by Macedonian author Zhivko Chingo. During the research, it has been concluded that the wind itself was given the status of a mythical creature, possessing an ambivalent, reintegrating and evastating power, thus acquiring the meaning of interlude that creates a cyclic chain of stories in Chingo`s abundant collection of works (Paskvelia, short stories, 1962, New Paskvelia, short stories, 1966, The Ghost in Love, short stories, 1973, posthumously published collection
Delirium, short stories, Grave for the soul, short stories, as well as Bride and The Ocean in the edition Collected Works, 1992). Due to the fact that cantata derives from a poetic text,the second part of this paper deals with analogies between the cantata itself in one hand, and
the short story which is the subject of the study, in the other, with the aim to emphasize the possibilities of reshaping literary forms into musical and vice versa.

На традиционалната IV Меѓународна научна конференција „ФИЛКО – филологија, култура и образование“ што се одржа од 23 до 25 мај 2019 година на Филолошкиот факултет при Воронежкиот државен универзитет во Русија, професорот Ранко Младеноски учествуваше со секциско предавање на тема „Оксиморонот во ’Нежното срце на варварот‘ од Венко Андоновски“. Во текот на секциското предавање беше истакнато дека освен во насловот, безмалку во сите текстови од збирката „Нежното срце на варварот“ од Андоновски (и во песните и во кратките лирско-прозни записи) може да се забележи присуството на оксиморонски фигуративни изрази по што беа наведени бројни илустрации со чија помош се покажува и се докажува автентичноста на ваквата поставена теза. Оксиморонските поетски примери беа ексцерпирани од голем број песни од збирката како што се „Болка“, „Зошто ја измислив Варвара“, „Неколку совети од Варвара“, „Современ човек“, „Загуба“, „Список на здодевни нешта?!“ и други. Освен тоа, во текот на секциското предавање беа презентирани и елаборирани примери од песните во кои е забележливо присуство на други стилски фигури кои според својот карактер гравитираат кон оксиморонот, како што се парадоксот, тавтологијата, плеоназмот и иронијата. Во заклучокот од излагањето беше нагласено дека во оваа поетска книга од Андоновски се доминантни оксиморонските структури како книжевно-уметничка постапка најавена уште со самиот наслов на збирката, но и дека во неа истовремено е доминантна и творечката тенденција за асемантизација на текстот, односно за редукција на семантиката на поетскиот дискурс во збирката. Овие две суштински особини на „Нежното срце на варварот“ меѓусебно се надоврзуваат и се надополнуваат давајќи ѝ на книгата особен модернистички белег.

STRUCTURE AND MEANING OF TURKISH AND MACEDONIAN COMMON WORDS
Abstract
Turkish and Macedonian belong to two different language families. Turkish is part of Ural-Altaic language family while Macedonian is a member of Indo – European family, Slavic group of languages. Despite this difference in terms of language relations both languages have many common words. Words are one of the basic language elements. Commonality of words provides an opportunity for versatile interpretation of language relations. The given condition could be examined in terms of intra-linguistic as well as extra-linguistic relations providing the speakers with an opportunity to form an opinion about the relations of the two languages throughout the history as well as well as set up the basis for certain future planning. Historically speaking Turkish and Macedonian have shared a mutual space and political, cultural and sociological relations and the number of common words present in the dictionaries is quite large. Although there is insufficient number of independent studies on the topic, various attempts on the subject provide sufficient number of data requiring a scientific approach to the topic. This article studied the common words used in Turkish and Macedonian in terms of their structure and meaning. Every language has its own way of functioning on the sub-structural (morphologic) level and the level related to meaning (semantic). This study elaborated structural and semantic properties of common words used in Turkish and Macedonian and present it to linguists. On the other hand, this study also tried to reveal how extra-linguistic developments (space, politics, culture, sociology etc) reflect on the intra-linguistic (phonetics, morphology, semantics etc) relations in different language families.

Türkçe ve Makedonca iki farklı dil ailesine mensuptur. Türkçe, Ural-Altay; Makedonca ise Hint-Avrupa-Slav dil grubunun üyeleridir. Bu farklılığa rağmen dil ilişkisi bağlamında pek çok ortak kelimeleri bulunmaktadır. Kelimeler dillerin temel unsurlarından biridir. Kelime ortaklığı üzerinden diller arası ilişkileri çok yönlü değerlendirmeye almak mümkündür. Dil içi ilişkiler yanında dil dışı ilişkiler açısından da incelenebilecek bu durum, dil konuşurlarının tarih içindeki ilişkileri hakkında fikir edinmeye katkı sunduğu gibi geleceğe dair bir takım planlamalar için de önemli bir altyapı oluştururlar. Tarihi olarak ortak coğrafya, siyaset, kültür ve sosyolojik ilişkiye sahip olan Türkçe ve Makedoncanın bugün sözlüklerine girmiş olan ortak kelimelerin sayısı oldukça fazladır. Konu hakkında müstakil çalışmalar henüz yeterli bir seviyede olmasa da muhtelif niyetlerle ortaya konulan yaklaşımlar, konunun bilimsel bir bakışla ele alınması gerektiğine dair yeterli veri sunmaktadır. Bu makalede Türkçe ve Makedoncada ortak olarak kullanılan kelimeler yapı ve anlam özellikleri açısından irdelenmiştir. Her dilin kendine ait yapısal (morfolojik) ve anlamsal (semantik) işleyişi vardır. Bu çalışmada Türkçe ve Makedoncanın ortak kelimelerinin yapı ve anlam özellikleri üzerinde durularak dil araştırmacılarının ilgisine sunulmuştur. Diğer taraftan dil dışı gelişmelerin (coğrafya, siyaset, kültür ve sosyoloji vb.) dil içi (fonetik, morfoloji,semantik vb.) ilişkilere yansımasının farklı dil ailelerindeki görüntüsü ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.

This paper will investigate not only the phenomenon of language and
national identity among the present-day Macedonians but will also demonstrate that a national identity did in fact exist among those people in the 19th century. Since the Macedonian literary language did not come to be officially codified and recognized until the time of the Second world War, the "19th century" of Macedonian can in a sense be said to have lasted until that time.

This commentary conserns the reasons and motivation for choosing particular novels to be translated into Macedonian. A short review of their style is given, as well as the common ground with the Macedonian literature. We describe the way of the working of the publishing houses which have decided to publish Polish literature. Problems in translation turn out to be of a cultural nature, concerning the differences and, as a result, the reader is presented with the picture of contemporary Polish society, which is overwhelmed by critical thinking, but still deals with the history as a way to further develop the tradition.

Класичната класификација на книжевноста на „поезија“ и „проза“ (според формата на книжевните дела, односно според нивната синтакса, кажано со модерниот книжевно-теориски вокабулар) е од поодамна разнишана во постмодернистичкиот книжевен модел. Во овој труд ја илустрираме ваквата постмодернистичка книжевно-уметничка стратегија преку анализа и интерпретација на дискурсот со доминантно поетски специфики во четирите романи на Венко Андоновски: Азбука за непослушните (1994), Папокот на светот (2000), Вештица (2006) и Ќерката на математичарот (2013). Во елаборацијата на прашањето за поетскиот јазик во романите на Андоновски во голема мера ќе бидат применети книжевно-теориските истражувања на Јуриј Лотман за второстепената уреденост на јазикот во поетскиот израз со чија помош ќе се покаже и ќе се докаже поставената теза за обемното присуство на „поетската нарација“ во романите на македонскиот автор Венко Андоновски чие книжевно дело веќе подолго време се афирмира не само на европската туку и на современата светска книжевна сцена.

The purpose of this article is to show the ways of expressing the Macedonian category of witness in Polish translations of Macedonian prose. At the beginning we present the situation of the прекажаност category against a background of the other Slavonic languages and than we characterize this category and its grammatical exponents. After that we describe the problem of truth modality which the category of witness is included in. We particularly take into concideration Polish language and the Macedonian adverbs serving this function. In the final part of this article we present some examples showing the Macedonian прекажаност category which are taken from the Polish translations of Macedonian texts. It lets us get the representation of the practical usage of the devices approchable for translators.

Развојот на оперативна вештачка интелигенција на македонски јазик (скратено: ОВИМ) предвидува технолошки исчекор со потенцијали за примена не само во однос на македонскиот јазик, туку и на останатите јужнословенски, словенски, односно индоевропски и други, помалку сродни јазици. Релативно полесната граматичка структурираност и помалиот лексички фонд наспроти другите јазици од овие групи го прави македонскиот јазик разбирливо погоден за развој на ваква технологија.
Ваквиот вид технологија овозможува механизам за потенцијално неограничено создавање текстови од широк дијапазон области, потенцијално движејќи се од новинарски статии, промотивни текстови и книжевно-уметнички дела до примена при генерирањето текстови за трудови, законски акти и правни решенија, анализи, извештаи и тн.
Во овој труд станува збор за генералните составни делови и нивната функционална ускладеност во насока на создавањето ваква програма.

The Balkan peninsula has long been considered as Europe’s tinderbox; and with good reason! With so many languages, ethnic groups (or peoples), and religious systems, the Balkans lived their most peaceful period of their millennia long history during the Ottoman rule that lasted between 400 and 600 years (as per different regions). As natural continuation of the Eastern Roman Empire, the Sublime Gate ensured peace and tolerance to a great number of peoples at a time of merciless and inhuman wars in the multi-divided and constantly disputed territories of the defunct Western Empire.
The Ottoman Empire’s scholarly, scientific and artistic superiority over the various state forms of Western Europe was undisputed until the beginning of the 17th century. However, the rise to preponderance of a bogus-Islamic, theological – ideological sect, namely the Hanbalite followers of Ibn Taimiya and his obscurantist and barbaric system, led the Ottoman Empire to collapse and the Islamic Civilization to definite and irreversible extinction. From 1600 to 1800, the Ottoman Empire became the Sick Man of Europe, and a century later it died out. The parallel rise of the Western European nationalist and colonialist states exposed the Balkan peoples to hatred, discord, local conflicts and regional wars that have not ended so far.
