This year, with the deadline to reauthorize the barreling towards us, Congress punted. They folded a straight reauth (with no privacy protections, no 4th Amendment protections, no reforms, no new oversight) into the budget bill.

This year a key part of the , Section 215, was set to expire. allows the gov't to collect HUGE amounts of personal data from millions of innocent people. If you've ever heard of "two-hops" that's Section 215. Specifically the CDR program.

Some of your state legislators are letting pharma and insurance company lobbyists write their talking points for them -- rather than listening to the desperate need of their own constituents for health care. It's as offensive as it is unsurprising.

We still have a chance to pull US-support from the war in but only if you act now! Tell Congress not to give Trump a blank check for war: we have to make sure the defense spending bill INCLUDES language that pulls US-support out of Yemen!
