Happy June Solstice! It’s officially the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, and the shortest day of the year in the Southern Hemisphere. Almost every ancient culture celebrated the Solstice; in fact, historians believe that’s the reason Stonehenge was created in England and the Great Pyramids were built in Egypt. Even today, if you stand in just the right place inside the Stonehenge monument on the day of the Solstice, you will see the sun rise perfectly centered above the three sections of the Heel Stone. And if you stand at the base of the Great Sphinx statue in Egypt, you will notice the sun is perfectly centered between the two Great Pyramids as it sets. With all of these ancient traditions and knowledge, we want to know: What are you planning on doing today with all of that daylight?
