Andrew Norris reposted thisAndrew Norris reposted thisWe’ve joined Dynatrace! 🚀 We are thrilled to announce that DevCycle has been acquired by Dynatrace! For the past 13 years, our team in Toronto has been driven by a simple premise: developers need to be able to move fast without breaking things. Today, we take a giant leap toward a future where feature delivery is not just faster, but radically safer and smarter. Why Dynatrace? It comes down to a shared DNA. We aren’t just joining a global leader; we are joining a partner that helped lead the OpenFeature movement alongside us. By unifying DevCycle’s runtime control with Dynatrace’s AI-powered observability, we are moving from simple visibility to true action. Together, we are closing the loop between change and outcome, enabling teams to automate remediation and confidently embrace the era of AI-native applications. To our customers and community: The DevCycle you know and love isn’t going anywhere. We are staying put, but now we have the resources to build the best Feature Management tool on the market—deeply integrated with the best Observability tool on the market. Thank you for being part of this journey. We’re just getting started. Andrew Norris reposted thisAndrew Norris reposted thisThis week’s walk to the “office” was different. I exchanged the streets of Vienna to those of Toronto. This walk was also the next step in a journey that started in 2022. Back then we decided with industry leaders that feature management needed to evolve from proprietary SDKs to an industry wide standard removing vendor dependency and supporting telemetry out-of-the box. This lead to the creation of the OpenFeature project which has become one of the fastest growing CNCF project. Almost immediately companies and individuals joined the project and OpenFeature has been used by companies like eBay, Spotify and many more. These companies are also actively contributing back to the project. OpenFeature also enabled startups to build their businesses on top it. DevCycle was and is at the forefront of these companies. … and this week the DevCycle team joined Dynatrace to build the future of progressive delivery together. Together with the talented team at DevCycle we will tackling interesting and challenging problems like: · How can feature management make AI-assisted coding safe and ensure high quality of the output · How can feature management help take the right decisions for AI-native applications when it comes to model selection, prompt tuning and delivering quality output · How can feature management by used in AI-assisted operations to drive fast and predictable autonomous operations. In a time where Opensource is continuously questioned as being sustainable, I am proud of having been part of the OpenFeature journey building software, a community and business opportunies sustainably and openly. You wrap it in a feature flag. Ship to prod. Turn it on for 3 people. Watch it breathe. Then roll it out. Andrew Norris liked thisAndrew Norris liked thisIt's a big day for us at Zocks. We're very excited to announce our $45M in Series B funding, co-led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and QED Investors. It's only been 10 months since our Series A. At the time, Ákos Ratku, the team, and I knew we were building something different: a system, powered by agentic AI, that would change how advisors, and their firms work. Since then, it's been a big year. We went from helping advisors save time on admin work to now helping them uncover opportunities proactively across their entire book of business. We also grew from 1,000 customers to over 5,000 in one year. We opened new offices, and have been supported by many amazing customers like RFG Advisory Group, Carson Group, Kestra Financial, Osaic, Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., Ameritas, CreativeOne and many many others (you'll hear about soon). We're really excited about what we're building and where we're investing. We want advisors to LOVE their jobs and grow their business even quicker. You’ll see more capabilities as we expand our AI agents that are woven throughout Zocks as we become a system of work that’s also a system of insight for advisors, deeply embedded across all the tools they use every day. Looking forward to sharing so much more throughout 2026. This is just the beginning! I can't list all of the great investors that have helped us, but a huge thank you to Illuminate Financial, Motive Ventures Partners, 14Peaks Capital Capital , Expanse Venture Partners , Entrée Capital, and Ascend! I sat down with Mark Cox at ChannelBuzz.ca to talk through what Pipeline Intelligence actually unlocks for teams. We’ve been working toward this moment for a long time. For years, enterprises have been stuck doing the same manual pipeline work over and over. At the scale companies operate today, that model simply doesn’t hold up, especially as GenAI workloads push telemetry into entirely new territory. Pipeline Intelligence changes that dynamic by automating the 70-80% of the work that used to take days. It identifies log types, applies parsers, and builds configurations so teams can focus on the part that actually requires human expertise. And because it’s built on OpenTelemetry, it gives organizations real ownership of their data plane instead of locking them into someone else’s. Appreciate Mark taking the time to dig into the details. His write up captures why solving the telemetry challenge matters now more than ever. 🔗 Read the full feature: https://lnkd.in/eMvjPhb2 #OpenTelemetry #Observability #Telemetry #AIInfrastructure

Legacy systems slow down decisions. Manual processes tie up teams. Customers wait for answers. Canadian Alliance Terminals faced exactly this. ✗ Real-time visibility was missing. ✗ Integrations were brittle. ✗ B2C growth stalled. Extensiv helped change that. ✔ Self-serve portals put data directly in customers’ hands. ✔ EDI and APIs made integrations faster and more predictable. ✔ Network Manager connected facilities into a national network. The impact wasn’t just operational. → Teams moved from data entry to high-value work. → Customers saw what was happening as it happened. → Onboarding became smoother. → Growth became scalable. Transparency, integration, and smart connections accelerate operations. When people have the right information at the right time, work flows. Decisions get faster. Service improves. Canadian Alliance redefined how work gets done. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gktQ4p3E

The traditional playbook for partner ecosystems is no longer effective. I will be joining GTM and alliance professionals at the Catalyst Summit Toronto on April 7th to facilitate two 'Power Circles' focused on critical structural shifts: 1️⃣ Service-as-Software: System Integrators are now developing their own AI-driven micro-SaaS on our platforms. As they transition from simply billing hours, we need to rethink our incentive models. 2️⃣ The End of the LMS: Partners are seeking real-time deal support rather than lengthy 4-hour courses. We will explore the shift towards "Just-in-Time" AI enablement. Join us at the BDC Offices for a discussion that transcends the usual partner narrative. #CatalystSummit #StrategicPartnerships #Ecosystems #AI #SaaS Chris SamilaPartnership LeadersAsher Mathew

TechExit.io Vancouver is in less than two weeks! In technology M&A, open source software often becomes a key diligence focus, because how open source is used matters. Some tech companies rely on some form of open source or third-party code. From a buyer’s perspective, the question is whether that use creates unintended obligations that affect the company’s ability to commercialize, license, or protect its proprietary software. As part of diligence, buyers commonly look at issues such as: whether open source components are embedded in core products, whether applicable licenses impose disclosure, redistribution, or pricing obligations, and whether the company’s proprietary source code could be exposed or restricted as a result. These issues can sometimes surface late in the process (sometimes for the first time!) when reviewing disclosure schedules or negotiating IP representations. While open source use is common and often appropriate, gaps in tracking or documentation can introduce uncertainty around what the buyer is actually acquiring. Have M&A questions or want to learn more? Give Mogan Daniels Slager LLP a shout! www.mdslawyers.com Otherwise, we hope to see you at the Vancouver Convention Centre (West) on February 19! 🎟️ Still need a ticket? "We'll see 100 million new developers come out from vibe coding. 5 years from now, no one will doubt that they're 'real developers'. They'll create real value and they'll create real software." To many people this may seem controversial. But to the vibe coders creating tangible solutions, the platform developers supporting their projects, and the vibe coding tools like Memex supporting the vibe coders' work, this is obvious. 100 million is the conservative estimate.
