Several ASF projects hosted a booth last week at Open Chain and Friends in Stuttgart, Germany. https://buff.ly/nhVWHUY At the event over 300 participants got introduced to Apache projects NuttX RTOS, PLC4X and Airflow by Alin Jerpelea and Christofer Dutz. The NuttX RTOS presentation introduced the project to the Automotive audience and illustrated the benefits of an ROTS focused on standards and compliance.

New Koha plugin: Witness the future of library science as the Narratronic Flux Core System (NFCS) utilises panedermic dewey-synchronised cardinal alignment to eliminate bibliographic entropy and boost circulation efficiency by 73%. In this week's 'What's on our mind' video, Jake Deery and Jonathan Field introduce the ground-breaking system, its key features, and the tech that drives it. Reach out to the team for more information on how you can transform your library's circulation. ETA: With April 1st coming to a close, we'll stop fooling around with this new tech 😉 https://lnkd.in/ef9C6ZSA

Just wrapped up the Conditions Database (CDB) Hackathon at KIT in Karlsruhe. Big progress on adopting the CDB for the Belle II collaboration. But what is a Conditions Database, exactly? Think of it as a time series database for physics experiments. When your detector records collision events, every single one is tied to a specific moment in time — and to process or analyse that data correctly, you need to know the exact detector settings, calibrations, and configurations that were active at that moment. The CDB answers that question: give it a timestamp, get back the right configuration. Simple concept, critical infrastructure. Excited to keep pushing this forward with the Belle II community. https://lnkd.in/ejZt5yUy

The competition in the Software category was *impressive*. Why did the judges at embedded world 2026 honor eXtremeDB/rt with the embedded award: Software? - Its unique advantage: eXtremeDB/rt is the only commercially available hard real time DBMS. Other so called “real time databases” merely analyze streaming data and cannot support actual real time constraints. - eXtremeDB/rt also contributes to sustainability and the bottom line: by eliminating the flash file system and reducing write amplification, flash wear is minimized, extending device lifetime and reducing electronic waste. Learn more about eXtremeDB/rt https://t.ly/jnUSB.

Running Qwen3-235B on 2x A100s allows for efficient computation without per-token costs. The integration of Claude Max through Claude Code serves as a robust build layer. The strategy includes periodic fine-tuning with LoRA, utilizing training data collected by Nova, ensuring that the model continues to improve over time rather than remaining static. This approach emphasizes ongoing enhancement and adaptability in model performance.
