Sai Boddupalli’s Post

From the first day I started at Atlassian, I knew this was a different company. The collaborative and open culture, the triad model and a manager who called me a friend and "mate". I had no enterprise SaaS experience at all, but Matt Chapman took a gamble on me and I hope it paid off! Deciding to leave has not been easy, but I leave a stronger PM, a stronger leader and a more thoughtful human being. I am grateful for my colleagues, those who've led me, and those I've led. You have all been instrumental in my growth. Special thanks to my leaders Matt Chapman, Alok Jain, Manoj DV, and Rae Wang who I learnt so much from in my time at the company. Thank you all for everything you have done for me and your belief in my abilities. My next product leadership adventure starts in a few weeks in a new city , and I am itching to go. Wish me luck! Not written with AI :) #atlassian #gratitude

Sai Boddupalli, There’s something rare about environments that don’t just build your skills, but expand how you see yourself. What you described isn’t just growth in role. It’s growth in identity. From what you could do… to what you now believe you’re capable of. That usually comes from someone taking a bet early, before the proof exists. And it sounds like that made all the difference here. Transitions like this are never easy, especially when the place has shaped you this deeply. Wishing you a strong start to this next chapter. Feels like you’re carrying forward more than experience.
