My Internship Performance Report at Growise Hub as a Project Specialist In this era of rapidly evolving and constantly changing technology, which demands that we continually adapt and learn new things, this has actually presented a significant opportunity for me to explore my abilities and acquire new skills to enhance my capabilities. During this role, I was entrusted with the responsibility, alongside the team, to manage a project end-to-end from the brainstorming stage, through the drafting of a comprehensive Terms of Reference (TOR), to the technical and operational execution on the day itself. Our primary focus was on designing an educational programme specifically tailored to equip students and fresh graduates with skills relevant to today’s industry. One of the initiatives that I and the Project Specialist team successfully executed was the Webinar: A Guide to Starting a Career as a Product Manager. Through this project, we achieved the following key success metrics: 🚀 Attracted 45+ Active Participants: Successfully converted the target audience into participants through targeted outreach strategies, reaching students and recent graduates. 📈 High Engagement Levels, evidenced by an interactive discussion forum, as demonstrated by the high level of enthusiasm shown by participants during the Q&A session, with 3 people asking questions 💡 Impact of the Training: Provided participants with actionable insights into the role and fundamental framework of a Product Manager, as evidenced by the positive responses in the post-event feedback form, with a 90% participant satisfaction rate. This experience not only honed my technical skills in project management but also developed my problem-solving and leadership abilities in ensuring every detail of the event ran according to the timeline and initial objectives. What actually happens behind the scenes before a product is declared “safe”, “compliant”, or “ready for market”? During my internship at PT Unitest Presisi Indonesia, a Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) company based in Yogyakarta, I explored that question from a broader perspective. TIC firms have traditionally focused on technical validation, ensuring compliance, quality, and safety. However, with rising ESG demands and regulatory pressure, there is a clear shift toward becoming strategic partners in sustainability. As part of my internship, I worked on a research project focused on designing ESG service offerings based on market analysis, historical client data, and competitive positioning. We approached this from a business lens: • Where is the real demand? • Which clients are willing to pay, and why? • How are competitors positioned across technical and strategic capabilities? The gap was clear. TIC firms are strong technically but limited strategically, while global firms offer end to end ESG services at a higher cost. This creates an opportunity for integrated ESG services that combine technical credibility with practical, implementation focused strategy at a more accessible price point. Based on this, we designed a portfolio including: • Sustainability reporting and GHG inventory • ESG gap analysis and materiality assessment • ESG data and KPI systems • ESG strategy and governance advisory This research provides a structured foundation for Unitest to expand into ESG services, in line with how leading TIC firms are evolving beyond traditional roles. More broadly, this experience showed me how companies can expand their value proposition by leveraging existing strengths and repositioning within a changing market.
