GitHub Copilot CLI allows for quick creation of that app you always wanted to have. Christopher Harrison wanted a cricket scoring app, so he explained things to Copilot, and in under 30 it was built. /plan to scope /autopilot to build /fleet to scale

I used it to improve my old websites, and it turned out pretty good. Compared to other platforms, the token usage is also fair enough.

Cricket and GitHub Copilot CLI: two of my favorite things! Super fun use case.

This is where things shift from “coding” to commanding outcomes. The real leverage isn’t in building apps anymore, it’s in knowing how to think, scope, and instruct AI effectively. Tools like this won’t replace developers they’ll replace those who can’t translate ideas into execution.Because now, speed isn’t the advantage clarity is.

That’s a real athletic development use case. Well done. Looking forward to promoting to my cricket community in Midwest.

30 can be minutes, hours, days. Don't forget to add another 30 to make corrections. Here in Spain we say what says "dress me slowly because I'm in a hurry."

This is the shift! The barrier to building is no longer technical capability, it’s clarity of intent and speed of execution. What used to take weeks of coordination can now start from a simple idea and move straight into action.

in Switzerland we use CricHeroes for tournaments - the free version is annoying with a lot of ads, the pro version is 10 chf per month - going to use this as an inspiration for creating a OS version! - coming soon ;)
