Character.AI achieved 2x throughput & 50% cost savings on DigitalOcean. 📈🤖 By implementing platform-level optimizations like hardware-aware scheduling & tuned inference runtimes, we’re setting a new benchmark for production AI. Watch James Groeneveld, Chief Architect at Character.AI & Karnik Modi at DigitalOcean show you how to implement these systems at #DODeploy on April 28th. 🌁

Everyone wants bigger models. Robert Cedergren wants better systems. At #GAIA2026, the Founding Head of AI at Bencha will show why small, specialized models can beat expensive general-purpose setups when production constraints like latency, throughput, and reliability are non-negotiable. A very relevant talk for anyone building AI that has to work outside the demo. What’s that - you want a ticket? Conveniently, we have a link for that: https://lnkd.in/dquKK7Rr

In this session of Infovista with VMO2, the discussion gets straight to the point: why AI in telecom often struggles to deliver real impact. It comes down to one thing: context. The session breaks down what’s needed to move beyond pilots: clear outcomes, the right KPIs, and data that actually makes sense. If you’re working with AI in networks, this is a practical, no-nonsense discussion. Watch the full session here:https://lnkd.in/gtjD8Aya

Spent today at the Generative AI Summit. Good energy and conversations about where agents are heading, vector databases, orchestration, the hard infrastructure problems that don’t get enough airtime. But I kept coming back to one thing I saw on the floor. A lot of chatbot builders. Polished products, clearly a lot of work behind them. And I genuinely don’t know what happens to them when OpenAI or Anthropic just ships that functionality natively. Not saying they’re done, some will carve out a niche, find the enterprise angle, own a vertical. But the window is narrowing fast.

Exciting to see the focus shift from AI demos to production inference. Predictable cost, low latency, and operational simplicity are what really determine whether AI systems can scale in the real world.
