HD-Tech are proud to be partnering with our client in the search for a Relational Planning Consultant / Senior Consultant, a newly created position designed for a hands-on problem solver who loves working with data and complex planning models.
This isn’t your standard SQL developer role; it’s SQL with bells on. You’ll support advanced planning use cases in OneStream and work with relational tables to design and implement robust data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a coder’s mindset, a natural curiosity for solving data challenges, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical models. Also, working experience with the EPM Software Onestream.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain relational models to support complex planning and reporting scenarios.
Translate functional layouts and financial requirements into back-end database designs.
Work closely with clients to understand their data needs and deliver clear, effective solutions.
Support data integration and transformation processes within OneStream.
Learn and apply emerging tools such as dynamic cube services.
What We’re Looking For
MUST HAVE WORKING EXPERIENCE WITH THE EPM SOFTWARE ONESTREAM
Deep SQL and relational database experience; strong skills in building calculation models and performance-tuned queries.
VB.NET or scripting experience a plus.
Proven ability to handle large data sets and deliver analytical insights.
2–3+ years of relevant experience ideally in consulting or a multi-project environment.
Strong communicator, comfortable engaging directly with clients.
Basic finance/accounting understanding beneficial, but not essential.
A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for learning and adapting.
