About the Company

We are hiring an experienced General Manager to lead a destination-based operation that brings together hospitality, retail, food & beverage, lodging, recreation, events, and guest services.


About the Role

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, and has a proven track record of driving both operational and financial performance. If you have experience managing complex, multi-revenue stream operations and leading large teams, we want to hear from you.


Responsibilities

  • Driving financial results through budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L oversight
  • Leading guest experience initiatives to ensure high levels of satisfaction and service excellence
  • Overseeing multiple departments including retail, food & beverage, lodging, maintenance, and guest services
  • Recruiting, developing, and mentoring leadership teams and staff
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and clients
  • Representing the operation within the local community and supporting public relations efforts
  • Developing and executing strategic plans to support growth and long-term success


You will serve as the senior on-site leader, setting the tone for culture, performance, and guest experience across the entire operation.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality.
  • Experience managing multi-department or multi-revenue stream operations
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget ownership and reporting
  • Proven ability to lead and develop large teams in seasonal or year-round environments
  • A hands-on leadership style with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in destination-based operations such as parks, resorts, recreation, or tourism (strongly preferred)
