In our ongoing AMA series, we're sharing answers to frequently asked questions on how we build, operate, and evolve one of the world’s most sophisticated trading platforms. Today's question: What university majors or specific coursework should aspiring Tower employees pursue? A: STEM majors are usually the most directly relevant, especially mathematics, computer science, physics, and statistics. These fields tend to build the same core habits Tower looks for: comfort with quantitative problem-solving, strong analytical reasoning, and the ability to turn complex questions into clear, testable approaches. That said, there isn’t a single “required” course list. The best preparation is going deep in whatever track you choose and coming out with strong fundamentals in areas like probability, statistics, algorithms, and coding. We also look for people who can collaborate, communicate, and keep improving under pressure. Have more questions about our business, platform, or life at Tower? Let us know! Last month, Tower CIO, John Cogman, addressed students at Warwick University, his alma mater, on building a career in finance. His presentation to Warwick Finance Societies offered a useful reminder that careers in this industry rarely follow a perfectly straight line. In our latest blog, we break out three lessons from John’s conversation with students: → Stay open-minded early on → Pay attention to the work that genuinely engages you → Once you find your lane, go deep Whether you’re exploring finance, technology, or quantitative trading, the path is often less about having it all mapped out from day one and more about building curiosity, sharpening your strengths, and developing real depth over time. At Tower, we’re proud to support these conversations and engage with the next generation of quants, technologists, and market professionals. Read the full blog here: https://lnkd.in/eKqRkHwa

Our CSR partnership with Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi is a great example of the potential of technology to empower the underserved. Together, we have built CoRE stack (Commoning for Resilience and Equality), an AI platform that converts satellite and field data into land and water management insights. By leveraging machine learning and remote sensing on satellite data, CoRE Stack provides rural communities with visibility into land-use changes, forest degradation, and groundwater stress through advanced hydrology modelling. Impact at a Glance: - 19 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) across 5 Indian states are using the developed tools - 10,000+ rural households have benefited - 398 field workers are actively deploying the tool in over 1,375 Indian villages This initiative directly supports India’s national AI goals, as echoed at the recent India AI Impact Summit 2026. We extend our heartiest congratulations to Prof. Aaditeshwar, Asst. Prof. Abhilash, and the team for being recognized as a top 20 finalist at the event’s “AI for ALL” challenge. Presenting at the Summit’s PAIRS workshop, the team showcased their on-the-ground AI approach, emphasizing that AI automation and decision support must never come at the cost of essential community participation. By transitioning AI from "pilot to platform," our CSR program is helping to ensure that rural India is not just a spectator of digital transformation, but a primary beneficiary. In March, Tower was proud to support two organizations advancing opportunities and resources for women in different but equally important ways. Earlier this month, we sponsored and attended the 100 Women In Finance London Gala 2026. Held at the V&A in South Kensington, the evening brought together leaders from across the finance community to celebrate leadership, mentorship, and opportunity for women in finance. Later in the month, we also attended a breakfast at Nike NYHQ in support of Food Bank For NYC’s Woman to Woman campaign, which helps provide essential household, personal care, and childcare items for women and families across New York City. Together, these events reflected the many ways meaningful support can take shape — from expanding leadership pathways to helping meet everyday needs. We’re honored to support both missions. At Tower, we recognize that our colleagues’ collective expertise is a powerful tool for social impact. Recently, our team in India turned that expertise into an opportunity by partnering with Dakshana Foundation for an interactive mentoring session. Our colleagues volunteered their time to guide over 250 aspiring engineers from underprivileged and economically weaker backgrounds. These students share a common dream: securing a seat at one of India's most prestigious educational institutions. This initiative was more than just academic guidance. It was about bridging the gap between potential and opportunity. By sharing technical insights and exam strategies, our volunteers helped pave the way for the next generation of innovators. We are immensely proud of our colleagues for embodying the spirit of corporate citizenship. To learn more, read our recap blog: https://lnkd.in/e3BfYEBb
