This sale represents the client’s first time connecting with MarineMax. Drawn to the Galeon 800 FLY’s innovative design and spacious layout, the buyer quickly identified the yacht as an ideal fit for their lifestyle. “The Galeon 800 FLY checked all the boxes for this client,” said Scott Roberton. “From the expansive, single-level flybridge to the open salon and four-stateroom layout, it’s a yacht that’s built for entertaining and spending quality time on the water.” Notable features of the 2023 Galeon 800 FLY include a large, open flybridge designed for seamless entertaining, a hydraulic swim platform that can accommodate a Williams tender, and a bright, spacious salon complemented by four well-appointed staterooms. The new owner plans to use the yacht for social gatherings with family, friends, and business associates, embracing a lifestyle centered around connection and time on the water. Throughout his career, Mike has built a well-earned reputation for delivering outstanding client experiences and leveraging his deep product expertise to help clients find the right yacht to suit their lifestyle. Over the course of his career with MarineMax, Mike has generated more than $360 million in sales, reflecting the enduring client relationships and consistent excellence he has delivered year after year. He was a top Sea Ray salesman for more than 15 years and was recognized as Hatteras Salesman of the Year in 2010, before receiving the prestigious Top Gun Salesman award in 2014 and 2017. He has also earned Chairman's Circle recognition 11 times, underscoring his deep brand knowledge and the trust he has built with clients and manufacturer partners alike. Based in Pompano Beach, Florida, Mike has been instrumental in growing MarineMax's yacht presence in South Florida and beyond. Today, we’re spotlighting Hannah Bures, our Senior Benefits Specialist at Team Support, in honor of Women’s History Month. Growing up in Florida, I have lived near the water my whole life. Whether it was going to the beach or going on a friend's boat, you could always catch me on the water. Getting into the marine industry just felt like a natural path and being able to do what I love in the environment I've always enjoyed feels like a true gift. Some of my favorite memories are out on the water. Knowing how much joy the lifestyle around boating can bring people and their families is my favorite part. MarineMax helps create these memories by providing the best boating experience. It’s no secret that the marine industry is male-dominated, and I hope to inspire more women by showing that there is a place for us here. I truly love what I do, and a big part of that is the incredible culture created at MarineMax. Feeling supported by the people and environment around you makes all the difference. I also want to give a special shoutout to my supervisor for being the best role model I could have hoped for. Having strong mentors and leaders is so important, especially for women entering and growing in the marine industry.

Today, we’re spotlighting Kayla Harper, our Regional Marketing Manager, in honor of Women’s History Month. Growing up on Lake Anna, the water was always home. That connection only deepened when I joined the sailing team at Christopher Newport University. After graduation, I continued to sail throughout the Chesapeake Bay area and the East Coast while freelancing for various boating clubs and organizations. This experience led to my first full-time role in Annapolis, MD, where I worked with a mix of power and sailboats. I quickly realized it did not matter what style of boating was involved. I enjoyed every second and knew I never wanted to work in another industry again. It just felt right. The lifestyle is unmatched, but the community is what truly stands out. There is a unique bond among boaters, fueled by a shared love for being on the water. Translating that passion into creative marketing strategies that help others discover the boating lifestyle is incredibly rewarding. I want to inspire women to lead with authenticity and confidence. I am so thankful I found a path so early on in my career journey, and I am proud to have found my place within the right field and company. This experience proves that you can make a meaningful impact when your professional goals align with your personal passions. I hope to encourage the next generation of women to dive into the marine industry, showing them that with dedication and the right environment, they can thrive, grow, and lead.
