It's National Welding Month with the next generation. 🔥 Meet James McCary Jr., one of our newer welders at Lexicon. James got his start with encouragement from good friends, and what surprised him most wasn’t just the work, but the people. From day one, he found a team willing to help, teach, and support him along the way. That’s what National Welding Month is all about: skill, growth, and the people who make it possible. #NationalWeldingMonth #TeamLexicon #BuiltTogether #BuildingAmerica #LexiconInc #Welders #LexiconWelders

Lexicon was proud to join our colleagues at Nucor to support the Greater Charlotte Heart Ball, a meaningful event dedicated to advancing cardiovascular health, funding critical research, and promoting education in our communities. By contributing to initiatives like this, we’re investing in stronger, healthier futures for the people and communities we serve. We’re honored to stand alongside organizations making a real difference in the fight against heart disease. ❤️ #LexiconStrong #HeartHealth #CommunityImpact #PeopleFirst

Safety isn’t just a priority at Lexicon, it’s our standard. On Friday, February 27th, teammates from our Industrial Maintenance Sites attended the Safety Summit in Blytheville, Arkansas. During the summit, teams were recognized for achieving an incredible milestone: completing the entire 2025 year with zero recordable incidents. Even more impressive, all Residential Contractor Groups at Nucor Steel Arkansas–Hickman reached this goal and were honored with awards to proudly display at their sites. This level of excellence doesn’t happen by chance. It’s a direct reflection of the dedication, accountability, and commitment of our men and women in the field who make working safely part of everything they do. Because of you, we continue to raise the bar and push forward in making Lexicon #1. #SafetyFirst #ZeroIncidents #LexiconProud #BuiltOnSafety #SafetyExcellence #SafetyCulture

Lexicon, Inc. reposted this
This week in my Entrepreneurial Strategies in Leadership class, Patrick Schueck, CEO of Lexicon Inc. spoke to our class and shared his leadership insight. Hearing his perspective on leadership, purpose, and personal accountability gave an insightful view into what it takes to lead both people and a successful organization. One of the biggest takeaways for me was his emphasis on mindset. He explained that you must put your mind in a place that allows you to win and find what motivates you. He made it clear that in life, you can either sink or swim. Feeling sorry for yourself will get you nowhere. This really stood out to me because it reinforced the importance of taking control of your mindset and pushing through challenges instead of avoiding them. Another lesson that stuck with me was the importance of purpose. He emphasized that your purpose is the single most important thing to figure out and that his centers around people. He shared that as a leader; your role is to help your team grow together and to put them in positions where they can succeed. This perspective showed me that leadership is not just about personal success, but about creating success for those around you. He also spoke about how adversity defines you. When things go wrong, it is not the situation itself but how you respond to it that makes you who you are. This message really hit me because it shows the importance of resilience and accountability in both personal and professional life. Another key takeaway was the connection between purpose, presence, and hope. He explained that being present and aligned with your purpose is what keeps you grounded and motivated. Without purpose and presence, it becomes difficult to maintain hope. This idea made me realize how important it is to stay focused on what truly matters and not lose sight of my goals. One statement that stood out to me was his perspective that Lexicon Inc. is not just a construction company, but a people company that happens to be great at construction. This statement reinforced the idea that organizations succeed because of their people, not just their services. Patrick encouraged us to think in shorter time frames, such as six months instead of twenty years, and to continuously educate ourselves. His advice to stay informed, learn daily, and dive into areas like AI showed the importance of staying adaptable in a constantly changing world. Hearing Patrick Schueck speak was a valuable experience that reinforced the importance of purpose, resilience, and leadership through people. His insights are lessons that I will carry with me as I continue to grow in my academic and professional career. I am very thankful and appreciative to be able to listen to such an inspiring mans story. Todd Shields Heather R.
