    Wrapped up an exciting week in the UK, where I met up with one of our newest customers, Harrison Drury Solicitors in Manchester, and we launched August's brand new mobile app at the Future Lawyer UK conference in London 🇬🇧 The momentum we have at August has been incredible: we've signed on some of the most innovative law firms in the United States, England, India, Australia, and the Middle East, from the Am Law 150 to boutique practices that are using August to take on more work. In addition to our mobile app, our team has shipped some very valuable features recently: pre-built workflows, meaningful integrations, and live collaboration that enables law firms and their customers to work together in real-time. As I kept hearing at the conference in London, 'this is truly one of the most exciting times to be a lawyer', and I'm glad I can be a part of this future.     Earlier this week, we welcomed August into our Manchester office for some filming and to speak with some of the team. It was a great chance to discuss how AI‑powered workflows will support our people day to day. We spent the day recording interview sessions with the August team and colleagues from across the firm discussing how technology can enhance efficiency, unlock smarter insights and help our teams deliver the best possible experience for our clients.     The fear about legal AI was simple: faster work, fewer hours billed, less revenue. That story isn't holding up. A decade ago, AI was supposed to replace radiologists. Instead, headcount grew, and salaries climbed. Cheaper scans meant hospitals ordered far more of them. Legal is heading the same way. The firms reclaiming hours through AI aren't billing less. They're expanding scope, flagging risks clients didn't ask about, and turning saved time into new instructions. When lawyers save time with AI, where does it actually go?     August recently hosted a dinner in New Delhi with some of our clients and a wonderful group of lawyers who are deeply curious about where AI is taking the legal profession. It’s rare to get this many genuinely tech-forward legal minds in one room, but when you do, the energy is something else entirely. We spoke about real workflows, what’s actually working in practice, and what AI adoption looks like in the Indian legal context today. Hearing directly from firms, litigators and in-house teams about what’s working, what they need, and where they see this going is something no survey or call can replicate.
