Joe Biden

U.S. politician and 46th president of the United States (born November 20, 1942 in Scranton, Pennsylvania).

Raised in Scranton and Castle County, Biden graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts degree ion 1965 and from Syracuse University's Law School in 1968. After serving on the New Castle county council for two years, he was elected United States senator for Delaware in 1973, at the age of 29. Reelected six times, he was a member of the U.S. Senate for 36 years, focusing on foreign relations, criminal justice, and drug policy. He then served as Vice President of the United States for both terms of President Barack Obama's administration, from 2009 to 2017. In 2021, he became the 46th president of the United States.
