  • Your AI roadmap shouldn't take months to build. Let us fast track it. Most enterprise leaders we speak to are stuck between "AI Hype" and "Technical Debt." They need evidence-based confidence to move forward. At the AWS Summit next week, we are opening up limited slots for our AI Ignition Workshops. In a single scoping session, we’ll help you: • Generate a Live RAG Heatmap of your actual AI maturity. • Map a clear path across your People, Platform, and Process. • Uncover, direct links between your AWS stack and measurable business outcomes. Don't leave the Summit with just a bag of swag, leave with an investable roadmap. 🔗 Book your session early or visit us at Stand S17! https://lnkd.in/e-eiFt_P #AWSSummitLondon #AIReadiness #CloudArchitecture #AWSPartners

  • Why do 80% of AI projects stall before production? It’s rarely a model problem. It’s a foundation problem. Next week, on April 22nd, we'll be landing at the AWS Summit London, and we’re not just there to talk about the "art of the possible." We’re there to talk about the "reality of the delivered", and the impact on your ROI. Stop by Stand S17. We’ll be running an AI Reality Check on your: • Data Strategy  • AWS Infrastructure  • Governance & Trust Skip the hype. See where you sit on the flightpath from ambition to ROI. #AWSSummit #GenerativeAI #AWSCloud #DataStrategy #ColibriDigital

  • The UK energy transition isn’t just an infrastructure challenge. It’s a digital capability gap. As organisations push toward Net Zero, many are hitting the same barriers: 🐌Legacy platforms slowing down innovation 📊Siloed data limiting visibility and decision-making 👩🏼✈️AI initiatives stuck in pilot mode The common thread? A shortage of engineers who can actually operationalise modern data, cloud, and AI in complex energy environments. At Colibri Digital, we see this firsthand. The organisations pulling ahead aren’t just investing in technology; they're building digital engineering capability that connects data, cloud, and AI to real-world outcomes: smarter grids, predictive maintenance, and faster path-to-value. That’s the shift the industry needs. Read our latest insight: https://ow.ly/Zxnx50YH62P If you’re rethinking how to scale data and AI in your organisation, let’s talk. #Energy #NetZero #DigitalTransformation #Data #AI #Cloud #Engineering

  • Check out the latest post from our CEO James Cross. It’s not about having more AI tools; it’s about having the right foundations to make them work at scale. Clarity over complexity, every time. Trust us, he knows what he's talking about. 😉

An interesting observation from a number of conversations with enterprise clients right now and it's not what you might expect. It's not "we don't have enough AI tools." It's "we have too many things, too many partners, and not enough clarity on what's actually working." The pattern is striking. A major bank runs a transformation programme with a roster of global delivery partners...and still misses milestone after milestone. An energy analytics business has built three separate lakehouses in parallel, each owned by a different team, and the question of which one wins is still unanswered eighteen months in. A regulated utility kicks off a data and AI transformation with real ambition, but the first genuine blocker is the absence of a defined governance and publishing model for the data they want to surface. In each case, the instinct has been to add: more tooling, more resource, more scope. But adding more doesn't fix what's already not working. What actually unlocks these programmes is much less glamorous, getting ruthlessly clear on architecture ownership, defining what "production-ready" means before the build starts, and understanding cost-to-scale before committing to a direction. That last one matters. We're seeing clients where the discovery question isn't "can we build this"...it's "if we build this, what does it cost to run for 500 tenants versus 50?" This isn't unique to these clients. RBC Capital Markets noted at the start of this year that enterprise AI adoption is expected to reach an inflection point in 2026, but flagged that proof-of-concepts continue to struggle scaling in production due to integration complexity and data governance gaps. The bottleneck isn't ambition or budget, but architectural clarity and delivery accountability. The engagements where Colibri Digital moves fastest aren't the ones with the cleanest greenfield environments. They're the ones where someone's willing to make a hard call on architecture early, and hold the line on it. Drop me a message if this resonates with what you're seeing. #DataEngineering #CloudStrategy #Databricks #DigitalTransformation #EnterpriseAI #ColibriDigital

  • What happens when you put the Colibri Digital team and our Nasstar Microsoft colleagues in the same room for a day for a Q1 wrap-up? A lot of energy, some very necessary coffee, and a massive step forward in how we deliver for our clients. Yesterday wasn’t a standard corporate update. It was a chance to connect in person, celebrate an incredible Q1, and look at exactly where we are heading next. A few things stood out: ● Real AI progress: Seeing how our AI practice is evolving to meet complex enterprise needs, especially around security and governance. ● Celebrating brilliant people: Giving a massive shoutout to the engineers, consultants, and team members who made Q1 such an incredible success. ● The path ahead: Getting completely aligned on our vision for the rest of the year. It is easy to get caught up in the daily grind of architecture and deployments, but yesterday was a great reminder that our biggest asset is the team we have built. A brilliant day. Bring on Q2. 🙌 #CompanyCulture #ColibriDigital #AIStrategy #TechConsulting #DataEngineering

  • AI’s next big move? Boosting human work. Not a catchy line - an actual $4 trillion opportunity for the global economy (thanks, McKinsey & Company & Company). At Colibri Digital, we’re not fretting over robots taking over. We’re imagining AI as the teammate you actually want in your corner. As Marv Gillibrand says: “Think of AI as your collaborative colleague.” And honestly? Once you do, everything shifts. #ai #aiintheworkplace

  • AI in UK finance has grown up. It’s no longer about pilots and proofs of concept. It’s about applied AI that actually works in regulated, real-world environments. Think: • AI embedded in underwriting, fraud, and risk • Digital assistants supporting human decision-making • Governance and explainability built in, not bolted on • Regulation used as a strength, not a blocker The winners won’t be the loudest innovators. They’ll be the ones who turn trust, transparency, and compliance into advantage. Read the full blog: https://ow.ly/zan250YeZfR
