Hacktoberfest is a month-long celebration of open-source projects, their maintainers, and the entire community of contributors.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re new to open source, <\/span>Global Hack Week: Open Source<\/span><\/a> is the perfect place to start! We will be hosting beginner-friendly workshops all week to help you get acquainted with the open source ecosystem and help you make your first contribution.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Join a community of 3,000 developers from around the world in demystifying open source while leveling up your technical skill and earning swag<\/a> along the way!<\/span><\/p>\n

About Hacktoberfest<\/b><\/h2>\n

Hacktoberfest<\/span><\/a> is a month-long celebration of open-source projects, their maintainers, and the entire community of contributors. Over the years Hacktoberfest has grown from a small group of just 676 contributors to a truly global event, with 146,891 participants last year representing 194 countries. This year, Hacktoberfest registration will run on MLH\u2019s event software Organizer HQ.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
