As part of weekly webinar on PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (DDKY), a Webinar on "Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY)" was conducted today. Shri Chandrajit Chatterjee, Director (PMFBY), DA&FW, presented the session. The officers of DA&FW, State & district officers and Central Nodal Officers of DDKY districts, attended the webinar.

A meeting to discuss the Annual Action Plan (AAP) proposals for the FY 2026–27 was convened under the chairmanship of Shri Atish Chandra, Secretary, DA&FW. The meeting focused on reviewing and finalizing the agricultural plan for the state of Haryana.

DA&FW has secured 1st position in the “Best Performing Ministries/Departments – Centre” category, in recognition of exemplary performance in advancing continuous learning and institutional capacity building among government officials, in line with the vision of Mission Karmayogi. Shri Atish Chandra, Secretary (DA&FW) and Shri Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, Joint Secretary received the award on behalf of the Department.

A productive meeting was held today at Krishi Bhawan between Shri Atish Chandra, Secretary, DA&FW, and H.E. Mr. Patrick Rata, High Commissioner of New Zealand to India. Discussions focused on strengthening and expanding India–New Zealand cooperation in the agriculture sector.
