Nobody tells you this about hackathons. You pull an all nighter. Build something cool. Demo it. Go home. Then the project sits in a folder you never open again. We wanted to fix that. Hack Canada isn't a weekend event, it's a launchpad. The first 36–48 hours are about getting a working version out the door and collecting real feedback. That's where most hackathons end. For us, that's where it starts. Over the next 30 days, teams get direct access to sponsors, documentation support, and structured check-ins. The goal isn't a polished demo, it's a product that actually works after the event is over. 🛠️ But here's what surprised us the most: Some of the best opportunities we've seen at hackathons had nothing to do with the project itself. A late night conversation at a sponsor booth. A random team up with someone you just met. A question about an API that turned into an internship offer three weeks later. None of that was planned. All of it was luck. Every event you show up to, every conversation you have at 2am over cold pizza, every half-baked idea you pitch to a stranger, you're stacking the odds in your favor. 🍀 This March, we're running it back. Link to apply is in the comments 👇 Drop your coolest project below, if it stands out, you might just get an instant acceptance :)
