Great job everyone! Enjoy reading.
Good to note, for @hubedav, if you see a Sloan comment, ignore it. It's not real and you are dreaming.
But seriously, great work @hubedav! Apologies for that Sloan Message sent incorrectly. Didn't know it will send as a full comment instead of a comment inside of a comment. I still feel bad about it.
Haha! No worries! Honest mistake. You owned it and addressed it well. Plus, it's not like you took down prod. Right? 🤓
Yea, but having that Sloan message feels like I left a "scar" on the post overall and making it look bad. Obviously, you got TOP 7, so that message doesn't matter but I am a type of person who apologizes on mistakes whether how small it is.
I understand. Really. And I appreciate that perspective.
Now, I'm going to play a card I haven't before: the cancer survivor is telling you it's fine. 😉
You handled the mistake gracefully and beautifully.
Thanks for publishing on DEV @kimmaida, @phalkmin, @snewhouse, @thegdsks, @vivek-aws, @maria_from_mlh, @hubedav!
When you get that "someone just mentioned you in their post" email
Congrats!
Amazing articles everyone. Valuable insights.
I hope @hubedav you are doing fine. The job market can get a bit frustrating. But, hats off to you for showcasing and getting it all out. I'm sure a wonderful company will hire you and giving you work from home. Take care and be well. We all need amazing people like you everywhere.
@vivek-aws saved me from crashing my mac. I was about to destroy it 😂.
I got a new range today, going from UX to AI Agents and vibe coding.
Funny how all of these look completely different on the surface, but they all run into the same thing once they hit real usage.
The raffle agent gets tested by trying to break it, the S3 mount crashes macOS, the AI agent forgets context… even the job post is basically about systems not behaving the way people expect.
Feels like building is the easy part. Figuring out how something actually behaves under real conditions is where it gets messy.
Great roundup — lots of insightful and practical reads this week. Thanks to all the authors for sharing thoughtful, diverse perspectives, especially the pieces on inclusive UX and self‑hosted AI agents.
Amazing articles 🔥 Congrats, guys! 🎉
